This is a huge shocker!!!
RIP Lindsey Graham. I'll refrain from my past personal opinions and appreciate the fact that a human being with a big family just suffered a huge loss!
Let's also discuss another senator, that clearly has no longer been able to continue his duties because of poor health.
Over the past month, he's been in the hospital and we've been given no updates about what's wrong with him and his latest condition.
I sincerely wish him and his health the best. However, this extremely long silence is completely unacceptable for somebody serving the people of the United States and state of KY! Especially in light of what we already know was failing health previously.
If they had good news, we assume they would have shared it, so its no wonder that many of us assume that they must be covering up the bad news. This is the US Congress for Pete's sake! A morally bankrupt, self serving, power obsessed profession. Why would we assume anything but bad things? Some of us are not dumb.

Lindsey Olin Graham (/ɡræm/GRAM; July 9, 1955 – July 11, 2026) was an American politician and attorney who represented South Carolina in the United States Senate from 2003 until his death in 2026. A member of the Republican Party, he served in the U.S. House of Representatives from 1995 to 2003 and in the South Carolina House of Representatives from 1993 to 1995.
Born in Central, South Carolina, Graham graduated from the University of South Carolina with a bachelor's degree in psychology and a Juris Doctor in 1977 and 1981, respectively. Before entering politics, he served as a member of the Judge Advocate General's Corps in the U.S. Air Force from 1982 to 1988, working as a defense attorney and chief prosecutor in Europe. He later served in the U.S. Air Force Reserve while in Congress. He was awarded a Bronze Star Medal for meritorious service in 2014 and held the rank of colonel. Graham worked as a lawyer in private practice before serving from 1993 to 1995 in the South Carolina House of Representatives and from 1995 to 2003 in the U.S. House of Representatives, where he represented South Carolina's 3rd congressional district. He was elected to the Senate in 2002 and reelected in 2008, 2014, and 2020. He sought reelection in 2026 and died as the Republican nominee
Normally, when a new breaking piece of news like this hits, I will post all the previous threads on the topic for background and understanding.
Unfortunately, I can't do that with this thread and be respectful of somebody that just died because all those threads are extremely negative.
Graham was just 71 years old. Looks like he probably had a heart attack according to the doctor on Fox.
That doctor, Marc Seigel also mentioned some things that are profound about a person's health at this age.
Are you getting enough sleep?
Are you getting enough exercise?
Readers should ask themselves those questions and let an event like this be a reminder of how important those answers are, along with other issues related to our health.
I can link to previous threads on health that pass on profoundly positive information:

This last thread was a very sad one for us here because it featured a long lived discussion with Larry as he was battling to save the life of his best friend and brother that he took care of for many years
However, people like Larry make the world a better place for the people/person around them and we admire them the most.
Also, related to battling sadness, depression and stress: USE MUSIC!!!

If Trump’s most voluble critic in the Senate may be coming around, will any Republican politicians hold the line against endorsing their nominee?
