How many times now has Donald Trump made "end of civilization" type threats to Iran and called them off?
The off the charts uncertainty continues but 1 thing we can say with certainty about the last 5 months.
Donald Trump started this and everything that he has done to try to get out of it has not worked.

The leaders of IRAN want Donald Trump to keep making lunatic threats like an unhinged madman!
Part of Donald Trump's strategy has been to make those threats, then each time after that tell us that his threats scared the leaders of Iran so much that they are begging him for a deal and that the world should, once again be in awe of the mighty words of Donald Trump that cause nations to bow down before him.

Iran would never trust any deal they make with Donald Trump before the election.
For instance, Donald Trump ripped up huge trade deals with our closest trading partners, Canada and Mexico and betrayed their trust and shiiit on them. He treats them like arch enemies instead of allies. He blatantly betrayed Iran during successful peace negotiations in June 2025, then again in February 2026(after Iran agreed to reduce their enriched uranium exactly as Trump wanted) to follow Netanyahu, putting Israel first.
No chance that Donald Trump can be trusted by Iran(or anybody, other than the Insurrection rioters that he wants to reward for their loyalty to him).

There has never been a more incompetent display in farcical leadership in history. Donald Trump sounds and looks worse than the leader of North Korea who, until DT came on the scene was the biggest global laughing stock for military leaders.

A huge election is coming up. With high confidence, look for Donald Trump to abuse his power to try to cheat and overturn the will of the people in order to keep his party in control of Congress. He failed after the 2020 election but he has seized power this time. He has control of both Houses and has appointed many thousands of key employees in the Federal Government that have pledged allegiance to Donald Trump.
Donald Trump is the most incompetent buffoon in US presidency history when it comes to authentic performance, however make no mistake. There has never been a more brilliant president when it comes to self enriching schemes. Gharibabadi’s comments come after Trump said Friday during a rally in New York, “after we finish defeating Iran . . . pretty soon I’ll be declaring the Hormuz Strait a territory of the United States.”

The conflict over who controls the Strait of Hormuz is a major sticking point between the U.S. and Iran in negotiations to end the war—both sides claim they control the strait, while Iran has continued to attack vessels in the key oil waterway and the U.S. has continued blocking ships coming in and out of Iran.
The United Arab Emirates said Saturday Iran attacked a state-owned oil ship in the strait.
