This one might be more revealing about your age. However, if you watched it because you had it on for your kids.......................that counts!

This show is one of my favorites.

I remember buying a 12" tv set so that my 6 year-old daughter could watch the new show for kids.

We've had Bert and Ernie puppets for 28 years now. They're getting some holes in their outfit from wear and tear in hundreds of puppet shows from metmike.

They always go trick or treating with us. Ernie on one  hand chattering away and making jokes, while the other hand records with the video camera.

Then Bert gets his turn in front of the camera performing and saying silly things.

That has been one of the highlights for the grandkids on Halloween, who love watching the Halloween videos several times a year.

18. Bert and Ernie have been getting questioned about their sexuality for years. Ernie himself, as performed by Steve Whitmire, has weighed in: “All that stuff about me and Bert? It’s not true. We’re both very happy, but we’re not gay,”

19. A few years later, Bert (as performed by Eric Jacobson) answered the same question by saying, “No, no. In fact, sometimes we are not even friends; he can be a pain in the neck.”
