African Swine Fever Outbreak in China

What does this mean for the world pork market?

Market Intel /  September 7, 2018

https://www.fb.org/market-intel/african-swine-fever-outbreak-in-china

"Over the previous week, China reported several more African Swine Fever (ASF) outbreaks, bringing the total number of outbreaks in the country since early August up to thirteen in six different provinces. ASF is a serious, highly contagious, viral disease that can spread very rapidly in pig populations by direct or indirect contact."

I read this morning that if China loses just 16% of their pig herd, it would take the export market of the rest of the world to make up the difference.
