what is the mission of the UN?

For centuries, Europe was a mosaic of independent, sovereign nations. Sure, they often were fighting with each other. But, each of these countries had its unique culture, its unique language, its unique BEAUTY.

During our recent past, all this has changed. For some time now, most of these countries have taken in huge numbers of ":refugees", most of them from the M.E. The result....many of these once beautiful countries have turned into sh+tholes, as our President would say.

In Finland, it was just recently published that crime would drop by 90%, if all immigrants were removed. Sweden has turned from a once very peaceful and crime-free nation into the "rape capital" of Europe, with the immigrants being the culprits. Many major cities in Europe now have "no-go zones", where even the police can't go. The no-go zones have their own judicial system, independent from local justice.

To make it even worse, these "immigrants" don't even hide their ultimate goal... to make all of Europe a Caliphate.

One should think that the government of the involved nations would have learned their lesson.

But no......

This UN resolution was just passed...the UN Migration Pact. This agreement gives "refugees" more rights, and makes it a hate-crime, punishable by jail time, to make comments critical of the immigration situation. (freedom of speech is definitely out the window now)

Germany's Merkel:  "...Today is a very important day,” Dr Merkel said Monday after 164 out of 193 countries voted in favour of adopting the United Nations’ Global Compact for Safe, Orderly and Regular Migration, which states that mass migration is “inevitable, desirable and necessary” and aims to institutionalise it at an international level."

desirable and necessary????  Insanity!

I have always thought of the UN as a noble organization, devoted to create harmony among the various countries around the globe.

This latest effort has a very sinister motive, IMHO. I am now somewhat in agreement with various "conspiracy theorists" who have stated for a long time, that goal of the UN is to destroy Western civilization.

Gunter,

This is a legit topic to bring up.

Thanks to my studying climate change the past 2 decades, I have great  familiarity with the UN's involvement, which actually is the entity behind the entire global action part of it (Climate Accord for instance).

This has been a scheme of theirs since they created the IPCC as the worlds climate authority in the late 1980's. The IPCC reports are like the bible to climate scientists(most who work for governments). The IPCC hijacked climate science for the political agenda of the UN. They rewrote climate history to get rid of the Medieval Warm Period using 1 tree ring study and ignored 100+ other legit studies that showed that it was at least this warm 1,000 years ago and this is NOT unprecedented warming.

The reason they did this is to able to have the means of enforcing their sustainable development agenda, by controlling every country, under their leadership.

Their first attempt to do this was with the Kyoto Protocol in the 1990's but that failed miserably. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kyoto_Protocol

It was after that failure, when the IPCC really ramped up the alarmism with exaggerated projections of catastrophic weather and climate if the world did not do what the UN/IPCC tells us needs to be done to save the planet.

https://www.ipcc.ch/

Ironically, doing what they insist needs to be done, will do nothing to change the planet but it will have a massive effect in accomplishing their real objective...........to provide the means for a huge transfer of wealth(trillions of dollars) from the rich to the poor countries and stagnate the developed countries growth, while stimulating the poor countries growth. This is why the Climate Accord requires severe cuts in CO2 emissions by the countries that the UN targets as those having economies that are too strong, which causes them to OVER consume and why other countries, like China and India that have more poor people, are allowed to greatly increase CO2 emissions until the year 2030(when China will consider cutting back).

Their plan means global CO2 emissions will continue to increase for over a decade.........but they get to pick which countries can emit with impunity and which ones have to make cuts.

They are basically the Robin Hoods for the world economies.

If you are a poor country or not affiliated with any country, this is a wonderful plan. If you are a developed/rich country, you are a target to be taken down a few pegs. The US, as the richest country, needs to come down the most/pay the most penalties.

As bad as this sounds(and the plan is very bad for the US, which fortunately backed out of the plan-and countries like France that have a leader who was committed to the UN plan for his country-see how thats been working out with their riots) the UN actually has some wonderful ideas to help the vast majority of people on this planet..........to greatly improve their lives. To bring things to the poor that we take for granted. They really are sincere in doing this.

However, no matter how wonderful their plan is, when they have to lie about it, in order to get the rich countries to do what they want them to do..........in the name of climate science to save the planet because there is NO WAY, the rich countries would follow this path otherwise, then we can't trust them.

Another way to accomplish their goals, is by immigration of poor people to rich countries.

This not only gives more people access to water, food, education and so on, that came from poor countries, where it was not easily obtained but it decreases the pressure for those poor countries to support more people than can be supported with its weak economy and lack of ability to provide basic needs.

This is all great for the worlds poor but it is reeking havoc for countries over run with so many immigrants............that came from bad situations, where they were raised in bad situations/environments  and bring that way of life with them......that it's taking a serious toll on those rich countries..........harming the people that were already there.

What it the limit for how many immigrants a country can allow without it damaging their society?

When the immigrants are not adjusting and melting into the society of their new country but are instead, bringing more negatives from where they came from than the positives that they contribute..........its a problem only when the numbers reach a certain point.

Many countries in Europe are well beyond that point. Excess immigration of poor quality people is taking a toll. The US is clearly not at that point.

THE TRUTH about the Climate Accord:

1. The US has cut its CO2 emissions more than any other country over the last decade.......without a Climate Accord.2. China now emits double the CO2 emissions as the US does here in 2018 and the Climate Accord allows them to continue to increase their CO2 emissions until the year 2030.https://wattsupwiththat.files.wordpress.com/2014/08/clip_image006.jpg3. The Green Climate Fund is a big joke. It supposedly exists to assist undeveloped countries in adapting to ClimateChange. What do the poor countries need to adapt to when the last 40 years have featured the best weather and climate since the Medieval Warm Period, 1000 years ago.........the last time that it was this warm?

Status of Pledges and Contributions made to the Green ClimateFundhttps://www.greenclimate.fund/documents/20182/24868/Status_of_Pledges.pdf/eef538d3-2987-4659-8c7c-5566ed6afd19

Note: The Obama pledge is 30% of the entire worlds pledge to the Green Climate Fund..............why wouldn't the entire world be upset that the US withdrew? Also note: China is not on  the list of countries pledging money. The tan colored bar below was the US contribution under Obama. The blue bars are the rest of the world and of course many countries did not contribute at all........instead they get our money.
