We've got to bring CO2 levels down to 40% of what they are today by 2030, or so. And then to zero by 2050, and then negative after that. That's a massive undertaking but it's possible

"This plant material isn't much to look at, but scientists say it should serve as a warning to the world about where climate change could take us if carbon emissions go unchecked.

The time period is an epoch geologists call the Pliocene, 2.6-5.3 million years ago."

Just another example of manufacturing an extreme reality that has no authentic scientific backing, in order to scare people.........with no accountability in the form of showing a shred of legit evidence that our world..........the real world is headed toward this particular outcome.

*Yes, we are warming at a bit over 1 deg. C/century.

*Yes, the sea levels continue to increase at inch/decade, which is around a foot in a century.

*So if this trend would continue to the year 2119 and the planet is another 1 deg. C warmer and the oceans 1 foot higher...................how much fossil fuels will even be left?

But some are telling us that we only have 12 years left to cut back on fossil fuels.

*In 2030, the year we will lose the planet if we don't do this, the global temperature will be around 0.12 deg. C warmer(around 1/10 of 1 degree warmer) and the oceans will be just over an inch higher than they are now.............but somehow life on this planet(which is greening up and doing better from the warmth and increasing atmospheric fertilizer) will be permanently damaged.

This is  completely made up and the complete opposite of the reality.

Let me tell you about that life:

Did you ever notice what it does before the Winter in the mid/high latitudes to survive?

*It migrates south to a warmer place because cold kills life.

*It goes dormant because cold kills life.

*It hibernates because food vanishes when it gets cold.

A planet greening up with the best weather/climate for life in the last 1,000 years is not a climate crisis!
