Of course I am not a “climate change denier”. I know climate is always changing. I know that humans have caused local climate changes such as the Urban Heat Island Effect. But I do not agree that CO2 is the main controller of climate.
Do you realize calling me, a PhD scientist, a “climate change denier” is equating me to a Holocaust Denier?

Face palm! According to the NOAA sea level site the majority of the gauges along the coast show a sea level rise of 3 to 4 MM per year or around 1 foot per century. This is not an extreme acceleration. If I'm not mistaken sea levels were rising close to this rate in the early 1900s. Our anchor ad libbed due to climate change after an accelerated rate. I can't understand why they trust me over the Government when it comes to forecasting and severe weather coverage but when it comes to Climate Change I can't be right because of what "science" tells them. This whole climate thing really makes me want to retire sooner.
I call for everyone to put aside their differences and agree with me that catastrophic anthropogenic global warming is the most massive scientific fraud in human history. re

What does "make Regina's facilities and operations 100 per cent renewable by 2050" actually mean? Buildings are "facilities". So no concrete or steel? Vehicles conduct "operations", So electric fire trucks? Zero fossil fuels so no gas heating? Good luck!

An interesting aspect to the ice growing this WInter has been the cold air being trapped in the high latitudes and not making excursions south to the mid latitudes..........which is exactly why its been so mild in the United States.
No, this is not (human caused) climate change, which predicts the complete opposite during Winters.........warmer at high latitudes with "Arctic Amplification" that is supposed to cause the polar vortex to shift south and shift the cold from high to mid latitudes.(this is what they said every time that happened over the past decade)
This Winter has seen the total opposite of that pattern.

So for sure, the global warming of just over 1 deg. C over the last century is causing overall milder Winters everywhere but much more so in the highest latitudes.
The warming is much greater in the coldest places during the coldest times of year(and night). That, along with an increase in rains have been the 2 most powerful, direct impacts from climate change that are indisputable.
So this Winters weather pattern, colder than average in the coldest places and milder down here, farther south is the opposite of how climate change affects the weather.
It strongly suggests that the extreme nature of it is being caused by something other than recent climate change.............or, that climate change/global warming is in the beginning stages of reversing.
I believe that CO2 is a greenhouse gas and should lead to additional warming and less Arctic sea ice in 10 years than we have now but am puzzled why we've gone numerous years with the melting no longer happening.
I really thought that there would be much less ice than this in 2020(going back 5-10 or 15 years ago) and my forecast was conservative.
Those forecasting MUCH less ice than me but telling us that it's actually worse than they predicted and that this is the beginning of the apocalypse, which will be unavoidable and destroy our planet for all of life by 2030 are completely making that up.
BTW, Arctic sea ice is already floating in the water. When it melts, its like ice cubes in your drink.........they melt and the level of the fluid stays the same.
Greenland ice is over land. When it melts and flows into the ocean, it contributes directly to an increase in sea levels. Same thing with much of Antarctica's ice(over land).
Greenland ice, with one of its key glaciers was measured to be slowing down a year ago but this is not because global warming has slowed down..........as some would like to think.
This shows how natural cycles make a big difference and despite climate change and global warming and climate crisis/emergency(the new preferred term) being synonomous with MAN MADE climate change.......and MAN MADE Climate crisis/emergency, as if natural cycles were suddenly abolished, the vast, vast majority of all weather and climate is still being caused by the same natural cycles that have been with us since well before humans existed.
All we did is (beneficially) warm the greening planet by 1 deg. C. CO2 is well mixed in the global atmosphere. Though the warming has especially been robust in the coldest places during the coldest times of year(high latitudes) and increased rain amounts can vary from region to region, we are still dealing with the same exact same wild natural fluctuations as before. There has NOT been an increase in extreme weather. Just an unprecedented reporting of it and often stating incorrectly that its from man made climate change.
Still just one more day until tomorrow.

Will be an interesting 4 years of being fed junk science to enforce the brainwash/convince people of the fake climate crisis. This is very expected and part of the cultural revolution............has nothing to do with the climate.
We are having an irrefutable climate optimum for most life by all authentic scientific standards. This is an independent, objective (non political) atmospheric scientist and environmentalist for 39 years telling you that.
Still just one more day until tomorrow.

There's not a dang thing any of us can do about the weather/climate but we can be good stewards of the environment/planet.
Conserve natural resources, recycle/don't waste and don't pollute/liter. Instead, clean up your community. Appreciate wildlife. Respect others that are different than you or disagree with you.
Help people less fortunate than you.
