Went on a short road trip yesterday.  If you want to know exactly where I was, I was on Rt 30 west of Rt 21, and went as far west as Ashland.  You can look on an Ohio map to see where it was.  Lot of farm country out there.

What I saw:

1.  About 50% of the fields were beans.

2. About 30% were some of the most awful corn you ever saw.  Yes, there were a couple small farms with decent looking corn, but for the most part....not.

3.  Remaining fields were either corn that just didn't make it or weeds/unworked fields.

I might take a motorcycle trip and head south on 71 for a spell and see  what is down that way.

Thanks Jim!

You are in one of the worst spots this year..........but there are plenty more, especially in the Eastern Cornbelt.
