Trump Accuses Most American Jews of “Disloyalty” to Israel, Deploying Anti-Semitic Trope

https://theintercept.com/2019/08/20/trump-jews-disloyalty-democratic-anti-semitism/

metmike: So now, we have Trump making statements trying to get support of Jewish people based on his support of Israel that he thinks they should agree with................ being twisted into evidence that Trump is anti-Semitic.

More evidence that we are living in a universe where up is down and down is up. A climate optimum is a climate crisis. Using the word invasion to describe an invasion makes you responsible for causing mass killings, 100,000  illegal aliens crossing the border every month was at first a made up crisis by Trump. Then it became twisted to be caused by Trump, then it morphed to be a good thing because we should have open borders and it's Trump and his border patrol that are abusing all these poor people.................who should all be allowed in and get free health care.

We live in the age of manufactured fake realities. Ironically, at a time when hundreds of times more information is available to enlighten us and provide us with knowledge/an education, it's being used by some to propaganda us to death and make us dumber.

Most peoples understanding of climate science, for instance, which was hijacked for a political agenda has gone backwards by several decades instead of forward.

From the story: "Many other Jewish Americans were appalled by what they saw as the clear anti-Semitic undertone of Trump’s logic.

“This is an explicit dual loyalty charge wielded by the President of the United States against 80% of American Jews who voted against him,” Emily Mayer, a spokesperson for the young American Jewish group IfNotNow said in a statement. “It is not merely an antisemitic dog whistle — it’s a bullhorn to his white nationalist base.

Rabbi Danya Ruttenberg explained last year how Trump sometimes uses anti-Semitic terms and phrasing, including using the phrase “globalist” to describe people with supposed insufficient American nationalism. “Globalist — one of Trump’s favorite dogwhistles — implies that someone is not of-this-nation, they’re not tied here, their loyalty is not to *us* of this country but to *each other* internationally,” Ruttenberg wrote."

'the Republican Jewish Coalition, defended Trump on Tuesday, accusing the 79 percent of American Jews who voted for Democratic candidates in the 2018 midterms of defending “a party that protects/emboldens people that hate you for your religion.”

metmike: More interpretation for us from that objective, all knowing MSM which tells us what we need to know about Trump. Good thing or else we would have never known that Trump also hates Jews now too. Rashida Tlaib and Ilhan Omar don't really hate Jews, it's Trump that does.

Trump Has Some Predictably Anti-Semitic Advice for America’s Jews

The president calls the millions of Jews who didn’t vote for him dumb and “disloyal”—one of the same anti-semitic tropes that caused him to accuse Ilhan Omar and Rashida Tlaib of “hating Jewish people.”

he unveiled his strategy for winning over the constituency: 1930s-era anti-Semitism.

"Oh yeah! Nothing like a good anti-Semitic trope about “dual loyalty” to reel in that Jew vote! It’s a bit like when Trump nabbed 8% of the black vote in 2016 by calling African Americans poor, uneducated, and unemployed. If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it!

Herr Trump’s latest remark comes as he and his Republican cohort have attempted to persuade Jewish voters to come to the other side by claiming that freshman Congresswomen Rashida Tlaib and Ilhan Omar, who have criticized the right wing Israeli government, are the “face” of the Democratic Party, and that any vote for a Democrat is a vote for individuals who “hate Israel and hate Jewish people."

I admit that Trump is sometimes misguided and as is sometimes the case,  uses strategies that lack tact and feature loose cannon statements that blatantly confront others with brutal honesty but it's amazing that this has been twisted into him hating Jews and being antisemitic. .........never mind, it's just  the latest chapter in the playbook to vilify everything Trump.

Donald Trump on Wednesday tweeted a quote from a right-wing conspiracy theorist who called him "the King of Israel."

“President Trump is the greatest President for Jews and for Israel in the history of the world…  Jewish people in Israel love him... ...like he’s the King of Israel” Trump quoted Newsmax TV host Wayne Allyn Root saying on Newsmax.

Trump says American Jewish Democrats are disloyal, claims “king of Israel” title

About 80 percent of American Jewish voters cast their ballots for Democratic candidates in 2018.

Trump is trying to pit Muslim and Jewish people against each other

This is not the first time Trump has called on Jewish people to leave the Democratic Party. His comments stem from a push to vilify Omar and Tlaib, the latter being a Palestinian-American. He has repeatedly said they hate Israel and Jews. Most recently he encouraged Israel’s Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to bar Omar and Tlaib from visiting Israel.

metmike: So easy to forget the fact that many Muslims in the Middle East hate Jews with every cell in their body. It's clear that our congresswomen, based on their comments also share, at least partly in this hatred for Jews/Irael. Trump is merely trying to capitalize on the fact that he supports Jews/Israel and they hate Jews/Israel, so he thinks this should equate to American Jews voting for him and not the party with these 2 Jew haters.

It's not that complicated. So American Jews are getting insulted because Trump thinks they should base their vote entirely off of this dynamic. There is a lot more to voting decisions than this dynamic but Trump does support Jews and these 2 women, by all indications, do hate Jews.

Muslims in the Middle East are raised to hate Jews and they raise their families to hate Jews(White Supremacists in the US also do-and Trump has condemned them on numerous occasions, despite the MSM not telling us that).

Claiming that Trump hates Jews because he did what he thinks is a positive thing for Jews and asking for Jews to  appreciate him for it,  is completely absurd.

https://www.csmonitor.com/Commentary/Global-Viewpoint/2013/0124/Why-Middle-East-Muslims-are-taught-to-hate-Jews

Why Middle East Muslims are taught to hate Jews

"For far too long the pervasive Middle Eastern qualification of Jews as murderers and bloodsuckers was dismissed in the West as an extreme view of radical fringe groups. But it is not. It is time for the region's secular movements to start a counter-education in tolerance."

metmike: Why don't these disengenous, moral high ground, hate Trump  inciting MSM instead, confront the real issue..............REAL/LEGIT hatred of Jews in our world today, like that displayed by these 2 congresswomen.
