Trump Stumped by Category 5 Storm Bearing Down on East Coast

https://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2019-08-31/trump-helicopters-into-golf-course-after-staying-back-for-storm?utm_campaign=socialflow-organic&utm_content=business&utm_medium=social&cmpid=socialflow-twitter-business&utm_source=twitter

"President says he’s not sure he’s heard of a Category 5 system"

metmike: The MSM is funny hilarious here.

Let me explain what's happening.

The NHC has been updating the president on the hurricane.

On their last update this is one of the things that was stated:

A blend of these measurements yield to an initial intensity of 155 kt, making Dorian the strongest hurricane on record in the northwestern Bahamas.

So President Trump, who frequently gets exact facts wrong but has ideas right, took this update about the strongest hurricane in history(for this region) and it jumping from a cat. 4 to a cat. 5 from the previous update, misinterpreted the strongest in history to also apply to the cat. 5 being the first in history.

So there have been several other cat. 5's in history and he didn't say there weren't any other ones, just that he doesn't remember any.

Time to turn it into a headline story. We all know that a president should be an expert on hurricane history and hurricane intensities. Just another reason to impeach (-:
