The dems, and some pubs, have so much invested in bashing Trump over this..  It's the worst possible outcome for them...   It may take a few hours to come up with a working spin.  Fortunately,  we have a lot of people just waiting to accept whatever negative angle they attempt to apply...

This won't be the last we hear about what's going on there.

Let me ask, how much did the average person know about this a year ago?

What about a month ago?

Why did this suddenly become THE most important conflict on the face of the planet?

OK, there was some legit front page news action going on with the invasion recently that justifies it. But think about the scale of the non stop news coverage day after day and what the news has been telling us............and we hardly have any American lives at risk(in fact the opposite).

Then, consider this:

List of ongoing armed conflicts

Ongoing armed conflicts in September 2019.

So this one will continue to generate MUCH MUCH more attention because of the obvious but the potential sensationalism for selling papers and attracting viewers is orders of magnitude greate with  this than any of the other conflicts.

Au contraire.  If Trump's actions result in a quiet down/slow down,  coverage will slow to a crawl if not cease.

And so it begins...     Lead by Romney, no less.     Guess they felt it would be more credible from him than Pelosi, Schumer or Schiff.

"Sen. Mitt Romney, R-Utah, on Thursday slammed President Trump for withdrawing U.S. troops from Syria and called the cease-fire between Turkey and Kurdish-led forces "far from a victory."
