Crop condition.........wheat planted 77%  vs 75% average

wheat emerged 53% vs 53% average

Maybe a crop condition rating will be out next week.  First rating should show wheat is in pretty good condition, though its been a bit too wet in the northwest sector and too dry in the east.

This early blast of cold will not be good for the WInter wheat in the Plains.

Not sure on how bullish the market wants to interpret next weeks weather. It certainly will be stressful to have hard freezes this early in the Fall and will interfere with the HRW in the Plains trying to get well established before going dormant for the rest of Winter.
