mm,

After reading the "source" you provided,I have been reminded how involved a true scientific experiment needs to be performed to ensure impartiality.

Compare that to the climate alarmists who feel it is adequate to notice that "It sure feels warmer lately" or " Boy sure seems to be a lot more big storms around these days"and use that as proof of climate crisis.

Thanks mm

Thanks John,

You make a good point about extreme weather events that occur being used as evidence of a climate crisis/emergency in many cases.

Even when that same weather extreme may have happened during global cooling(1940's-70's) and been even more extreme in the past.

However, some extreme events set new records............but our accurate weather records using instrumentation only go back less than 150 years!

What if we went back to the Medieval Warm Period 1,000 years ago, that was this warm. Or the Holocene Climate Optimum that was much warmer than this in the high latitudes/Arctic 5,000+ years ago?

With absolute certainty, using a sampling that is 40 times longer, would result in extremes in weather that are far in excess of  most if not all of the extremes we've seen today, during the current climate optimum.
