Not just the USA 2020 with promises of free stuff

The world over is in turmoil in many places about free stuff

This tells me the middle class is losing out and trying to stay middle class by use of more debt

But these same people are no dummies

They know debt is not the answer, even as they go deeper in debt

The the younger generation want it all now. New car, furniture, shower/wedding gifts that cost a fortune. They don't want to start at 30-40,000, maybe more depending on location, they want a salary that will pay for it today or soon. Like a university degree has to be worth something

The middle class some how hopes free stuff will help their debt problem, so you have these two groups sort of agreeing, but not all sold as of now

So they see all this free stuff as filling the gaps their salary won't pay for. But this free stuff is a step too far left for a lot of voters. You can't make a radical change over nite. I takes time and enough voters aren't ready for this free stuff as they question, where does the money come from. That one question  "money and taxes" will be enough o convince voters to reject the far left, just enough to even the score in numbers

Now just suppose a centre left Dem candidate wins the nomination, which I think will happen

This time around the middle class is still not ready for far left thinking and not ready to hold their nose and vote Trump

So what happens???

I have to think a moderate centre left would give Trump a real run for his money. That is what is propping Biden up in the polls, as off now, but Biden will fail and badly in the polls,. Too many things could go wrong for Joe.if he gets a serious investigation, maybe  too many skeletons in his closet. Or his foot in mouth disease may be his down fall. Who knows but I think we can safely assume Biden is out. There are a couple other centre left Dems who would quickly step up and fill Biden's place in the polls and money would flow, once Biden is gone. One of them is woman of colour who would be an asset as the V.P on a moderate ticket.

This is where Trump has a problem which is the moderate centre left Dem/an of colour V.P.

Would be really intersting as the economy, health care etc become an issue with women voters.

However, probably not this time but coming soon, a socialist will win the Wh. Free stuff will eventually win a majority, as the divide is not just political but also the have and have nots. The middle class is slowly slipping into the have not class

JMHO and we shall see how close my prediction might be

Of course the polls could change and I take the polls seriously even if they can be wrong. Polls have on average been as good a barometer as any thing, which could have me changing constantly in my predictions

I take no offense as 2020 is light yrs away in politics..
