In Canada we studied both americian and canadian civics in secondary grades [I found it ratheer boring but I put that down to the teacher making it boring]
I read one social media twitter by a teacher who thought Trump was gone
An equal number knew he was not gone
But: Can you imagine the possible damage done if that teacher taught civics
The only thing I can assume is the source of your information. MSM might lead you to believe erroneous assumptions. Your school system may fail you in some way
People are not really stupid but if their information is lacking in truth or shades of gray
You hear what you want to hear and make assumptions about what you want to believe

Look at what people believe about climate change, electric cars, The Paris Accord, fossil fuels and so on
Are all these things possible or just assumptions based on faulty information
Maybe my assumptions are wrong. For example maybe electric cars will be economical and feasible. I dunno, but my information leads me to assume electric cars will not sell, large quantities, with todays technology and infastructure

Progressive activists have taken over as gatekeepers for broadcasting the information on the MSM networks. They have taken over many fields including climate science and dominate with their belief systems at most universities.
The UN and Climate Accord are only about global socialism. There is nothing in there that would affect the climate by more than an insignificant iota or two.
These sound like "opinions" by metmike but they are just authentic facts backed up by rock solid empirical data.
