exactly Tim, every damn R should just stay home. The dems have no bias. They can never be racists, homophobes, never show religious bigotry, always fight for the little man. The dems make sure bias never creeps into large bureaucratic government institutions. They are always on the right side of logic, rules, questions, answers. What is to worry about when you just take a glance at the dems running for President.

We know that politicians lie but these 2 have taken it into a realm that is beyond anything we've witnessed in political history.
And these are the 2 main spokespeople representing the dems, creating impeachment narratives that they want us to believe.
What an embarrassment to the rest of the world they've turned the American political process into here..........and counterproductive, waste of resources for the American people............while massively increasing hate and divisiveness(pretending to be non partisan, patriotic, honorable Americans, defending the Constitution).
This is no defense of President Trump. Even if you think that Trump wanting to investigate corruption that involved his political opponents is an impeachable offense, threre is no denying the lies by those trying to impeach him.

According the the dems, Trump should be impeached for abusing his power trying to have an investigation into corruption of his 2020 political opponent...to affect the election.
The entire objective of the impeachment circus is to keep Trump from being elected in 2020. Compare his phone call and several other actions that he was using to try to make the Ukraine investigation happen to the last 3 months of the real world of impeachment, featuring a massive abuse of power by one side and non stop, daily headline news, with everything else in Washington coming to a grinding halt.

Yes pj, agreed and I have covered that before as Trump is the president with the most character flaws....by a very wide margin over whoever you want to name in 2nd place.
He is very mean and divisive too in the manner that he communicates, with an in your face, blunt and tact lacking attack on those that are attacking him(make no mistake, most of his attacks are directed at people/sources that attacked him first) vs Pelosi, Schiff and guys like St. James Comey that are masters at pretending to be virtuous, patriotic Americans doing their duty, while they devise diabolical schemes to destroy President Trump using lies.
However, Trumps volatile/impulsive personality is no secret as the MSM makes every one of his lies, exaggerations and embellishments their headlines......... as well as plenty of made up stuff(like the Mueller investigation collusion with Russia that we heard about for 2+ years).......while never crediting him with the massive accomplishments and his honesty in trying to honor the agenda he promised, with the platform that he used to get elected.
I try to take each situation, case by case and use authentic facts, while weeding out the garbage false narratives and fake news............on both sides.
This is the case of the impeachment of President Trump.
Trump obviously wanted an investigation of US corruption in the Ukraine for political reasons. Since there WAS corruption in 2016 (the FISA report has already confirmed that and Barr's report will likely give us some indightments) and the Biden situation is at the very least, blatant nepotism and likely worse than that...........is it right to impeach a president over investigating real corruption, just because it was committed by the opposing party?
Trump was trying to push the investigation and not use US intelligence resources because the US intel has clearly been out to destroy him. Again, the FISA report proves it. 17, completely unexplained, significant errors, each one went against Trump.....much more to come soon.
Regardless, Trump's lies about stuff to make himself look good and others bad are not nearly as damaging as lies used to remove or destroy a sitting president and affect an election in much more powerful ways then anything he could have done.
The dems have changed their accusation/the reason to impeach Trump half a dozen times over the past 2+ years. One of their methods was to use focus groups/polls to see what terms/charges would sound the most damaging/understandable to Americans. This is when they morphed from quid pro quo to bribery...........that eventually morphed in to abuse of power because they couldn't show quid pro quo or bribery and you can defend against those because they deal with specifics that can be addressed to show they did or did not happen.
Abuse of power is a general term. It's impossible to disprove and effectively defend against "abuse of power".
And the democratic operative that is the whistle blower, who reported 2nd hand knowledge but needed to be protected because they and their families safety would be threatened if Trump found out who it was?
Right.
And we find out that Schiff was in contact with the whistle blower a month before the rest of us knew(and lied to us). Obviously devising the take down Trump scheme.
Here is what I think happened with moderate confidence but is speculative. Schiff and those that were part of this scheme back in August for sure (possibly in late July), knew that the aid was being delayed and why.
They were sitting on the whistle blower complaint for weeks(instead of filing it) waiting and hoping that Trump would delay the aid as long as possible and really hoping that he would not send it before the deadline in late September.
Trump messed them up by sending the aid before the deadline and before Ukraine did anything to get the aid........which completely negates the quid pro quo charge and bribery too because Trump got nothing(Ukraine claims they felt no pressure) and they got what they were supposed to get.
After the aid was sent, there was no more waiting to see how long it would be delayed and it was time to tell everybody about the whistleblower complaint(that Schiff had a month earlier).
Dang, if the aid could have been delayed for just another month and even more so, if the Ukraine had announced an investigation prior to that........they would have nailed him and we would have had quite a few republicans with no choice but to vote for impeachment.
Since that did NOT happen, they can't vote to impeach. There are no legit grounds to remove him from office.
I think that there's a chance that Trump found out about this scheme in early Sept. before he "might have" been able to complete a quid pro quo and released the aid to avoid it.
If that was the case, then Schiff's office and the whistle blower should not have started to devise this scheme until AFTER the quid pro quo happened. They already had the wheels in motion with the plan more than a month before it could have turned into a quid pro quo........and Trump, maybe got wind of it and prevented any part of a quid pro quo, if there was going to be one.....from happening.
Regardless, you can't impeach a president for speculating on what he might have been thinking and might have done, if he didn't do it.
Funniest thing about this theory, is that if it's right, Schiff knows that he almost had Trump.......but can't tell us why and how because he would have to reveal his own scheme with the whistle blower for us to understand it.
