And we know that the left never relies on disinformation.   "How dare they use our tactics against us!!"

"Boris Johnson was re-elected as prime minister in a landslide victory in the U.K. on Dec. 12, but his party’s campaign was marred with allegations of spreading lies and mistruths. The Conservative Party openly posted misleading material online, including a fake manifesto from the opposition party, Labour, and in one case masqueraded as a fact-checking operation to spin commentary on a debate (a move that it defended)."

Thanks Tim!

That's what our world has turned into.

In the age of enlightenment and information, one would think that people would be using that information to acquire more knowledge and be able to apply that, with critical/rational thinking for better judgement and smarter decisions.

Instead, the gatekeepers of that infomation, like the MSM and politicians use this powerful technology to communicate to create convincing sounding fake news and false narratives and the targets(us) have become lazy in scrutinizing that info.......instead, letting our cognitive bias lead us to believe everything that lines up with our preconceived notions with no skeptism and discarding anything that countradicts our bias..........even the truth and authentic facts.

With time, we have become conditioned to going to our favorite sources that tell us the news the way we like to hear it(nobody wants to listen or watch stuff that tells them they are wrong or full of doo doo).

Unlimted sources are available and many of them feature progressive activists, who are in fields where they have the power to influence millions.........and they do that.

In politics, it's been that way to some extent for decades but the internet and broadcast media has turned it into, almost a Twilight Zone of manufactured/made up realities sold as the reality..........so effectively that people completely believe it.

A fake reality can sound much more convincing than the real world.

For instance, is the best weather/climate with the current climate optimum and beneficial CO2 the sort of thing that gets peoples attention with headline news? or is a manufactured climate emergency that is going to destroy the planet in less than 12 years unless we do what they tell us to do, using sensationalism and scary verbiage, going to be more powerful? Sell more papers/get more viewers? Sell the propaganda to promote the ideology(socialism)?

Not even close.
