A few days ago, a staffer of the Sanders campaign made the news, when he expressed his rather violent plans for action, should Trump get reelected. The news media dismissed him as a "crack pot"

Here is another one....

this guy talks about doing away with Senate and Congress, and about starting a violent communist revolution and sending conservatives to re-education camps and “guillotine the rich".

quite likely, there are more of them in Bernie's camp .

Let's not forget history... Russia, Cambodia... they all started with some "crack pot" stirring up the masses.

and their primary "drug of choice" has always  been wealth envy.

Once you are convinced that it's not fair that others have more than  you and they cheated to get it,  you can justify all kinds of things.

In a healthy society, you don't envy the rich,  you emulate them.

You are correct Tim

However,

People used to say Canada was socialist

The USA is rapidly closing that gap

There are too many reasons, to post, why this is happening

But just one example [I can't help myself as this is the same industry I try to make a living]

Some estimate the USA farmer [over all segments] received 40% of their income from gov't programs

How is that for socialism

I am a farmer and got zero in Canada

And you people hollered about milk

I know how you feel about gov't programs mcfarm so my apologies to you, for bringing this to light

Considering the fact you have so many who want to be president, with social views on this and that, I would say you are rapidly closing the gap, to the day when you  elect a  socialist president

The problem as I see it

You will take us down with you

At the risk of sounding like an egoistical nationalist,  the truth is, when the US sneezes, the world gets pneumonia.  Y'all better hope and pray that people like me prevail.

Ironically, if we don't prevail,  the people who oppose us will say it's our fault when it crashes down around their ears..  "We didn't tax and regulate GREED enough!!!  GREED was our downfall!!!".

And they'll be right.  But it will be their own greed..    Not the "greed" of the productive classes.  We are dealing with a mindset who feels it's greed to want to keep more of what you earn,  but it's perfectly fine to feel entitled to what others have earned.  How does one reason with such convoluted logic?
