1. But the rapid warming we’re seeing now can't be explained by natural cycles of warming and cooling. The kind of changes that would normally happen over hundreds of thousands of years are happening in decades.

metmike: Wrong. It was this warm 1,000 years ago, 2,000 years ago, 3,500 years ago and much warmer than this in the higher latitudes from 9,000 to 5,000 years ago.

2.  CO2 is a beneficial gas in every field of science and its greening up the planet. Only in politics is it defined as pollution.

3. Global warming is increasing rain but not increasing drought. It is not increasing hurricanes or most extreme weather. It's decreasing violent tornadoes.

4. "We’re already seeing the devastating effects of climate change on global food supplies, increasing migration, conflict, disease and global instability, and this will only get worse if we don’t act now. Man-made climate change is the biggest environmental crisis of our time. It threatens the future of the planet that we depend on for our survival and we're the last generation that can do something about it." 

metmike: This is completely made up. Food production and crop yields have been smashing records BECAUSE OF climate change and the current climate optimum.  

5. Solar power and onshore wind are the cheapest ways of generating electricity; meaning the energy they produce is cheaper than using nuclear, gas and fossil fuels.  

metmike: WRONG!

This isn’t the case. Climate change is the biggest threat faced by polar bears.

metmike: Another lie. Polar bear numbers have increased 30% since 2005.

8. Given the speed of climate change, it’s becoming impossible for many species to adapt quickly enough to keep up with their changing environment. 

metmike: Almost all life is doing better because of the beneficial warming and increase in the beneficial gas, CO2. It's cold that kills. An increase of just over 1 deg. C in a century has been welcomed. 

10. Despite being one of the largest emitters of greenhouse gases, China is currently one of the largest investors in renewables. The increase in investment has been in response to the rapid growth of green business and the need to clean up air pollution in its major cities.  

metmike: This is complete hogwash. China is now up to emitting double the emissions of the US and the disparity has been rapidly growing but we should not worry about beneficial CO2 emissions anyway.

We all need to raise our voices and fight for our world! 

Which is what I'm doing right now by shining the light of truth on the darkness of deceit by this source that is making all this stuff up or repeating the made up, junk science stuff from other sources.
