You may have heard about the so-called Capitol Hill Autonomous Zone (CHAZ) in Seattle. According to USA Today, June 12edition, it’s a police-free area in Seattle, where freedom of speech is exercised, where people peacefully gather, discuss their ideas and have fun. When asked by a reporter, how long this could last, the mayor stated that it could be a “summer of love”.
Actually, this has been going on for several days now. I started reading reports and saw videos about it, some time ago….with a quite different narrative.
According to those reports, this movement was started by Antifa (for this, I saw no evidence). It was quickly joined by a BLM group, led by a rapper. This rapper quickly established himself as a war-lord of this area. His men are heavily armed.
He allegedly threatened the police to storm their building. The police decided to move out….can’t blame ‘em… in today’s environment they can’t afford to fight back with force… it would quickly turn into another crisis.
Barricades now seal of all streets leading into this area, supported by heavily armed militia (I saw photos of them wearing vests and assault rifles) Apparently, they do know the importance of borders and walls. Entrants are carefully screened.
Inside this ‘haven’, I saw pictures resembling a block party…. free food, free movies, free musical entertainment…people dancing on the street
Things quickly changed though. Food ran out quickly. There are reports of their militia demanding protection money from businesses.
The police chief stated this morning that violent crimes, such as rape and robbery, have quadrupled in this area, and they can’t respond (other than taking a report over the phone). Apparently, this communist utopia has quickly soured.

The war-lord is now making demands from city and state, for further concessions.
My personal opinion: since some of the media are painting this situation as a wonderful experiment, I would not be surprised to see things like this happening in other cities.
Remembering my classes in history…there was an era in Europe, called the Dark Ages… a time, when many war-lords ruled over small territories, oppressing their subjects and fighting with each other. Could it happen here?
IMHO, this is not a federal matter, and I don't think the president has any jurisdiction in this matter. It's up to the mayor, and,if necessary the governor.
If any forum members live in this Seattle area, please respond and give us the correct scoop.
What I am seeing exceeds my deepest fears of what the left is capable. I am dumbstruck that elected officials, people in positions of power, can look upon this as a block party and chastise anyone who wants to use force to end it. How can even a small minority on the left look at this and feel, "Yeah, I want more elected officials like that" while demonizing and ridiculing anyone who does not hate Trump.
We may very well be watching the end of the US because no one could support this and America.
just reading here that a similar event is planned for Nashville, this week. Governor is against it

I think the biggest risk seems to be if Trump wins again.
I believe that he will lose, however, these people clearly do not respect the rule of law and our government. They are for a different form of government(socialism/Marxist, so why would they honor the results of a democratic election?

The BLM movement is having some conflict with many of these people in Seattle that want it to be about their form of government replacing the current government and capitalism.
For many people, this autonomy zone and these people are a shocker but these ideas are exactly what the Climate Accord is about on a global scale. It's exactly what Antifa is about. It's exactly what Greta is about. It's what the United Nations is about. It's what the WHO is about.
If you are for anti science Greta, then you are for these people and their cause. The UN is a wonderful organization but their model for the future is global socialism/Marxism that balances the worlds resources more equitably.........applying a "Robin Hood" methodology(I say this because they are "taking money from the rich countries because they are tricking them with a fake climate crisis) and reducing OVER consumption of natural resources by the developed nations to match a "Sustainable Development" model............by killing the economies of the rich/developed countries which run on fossil fuels...................by depriving them of cheap, reliable, abundant and power packed fossil fuels(the life blood of the economies of ALL rich/developed countries).

CO2 in reality, is a beneficial gas that is greening up the planet and we are having the best weather/climate in the last 1,000 years for life and its a climate optimum, not a crisis.

Please show me where they have been RIGHT about anything in the last 40 years?(I will help you, they have been correct about the increase in rains because the warmer atmosphere holds around 6% more moisture and the increase in heat waves in "some" places but the warming has mostly been to the coldest places, during the coldest times of year-and during the coldest time of day-at night and been beneficial not detrimental).
The benefits to the warming have been more than 10 times greater than the detriments.

They hijacked climate science 4 decades ago and REWROTE climate history. No sheet, they rewrote climate history to wipe out the Medieval Warm Period, 1,000 years ago (that really happened) to make this current warming appear to be completely unprecedented and only caused by burning fossil fuels.............that must go ASAP or the planet will be destroyed.
We still are not even close to being as warm in the higher latitudes as we were during the Holocene climate Optimum 5,000-9,000 years ago.
Note, that period has been called a climate OPTIMUM because of the beneficial warming for life.

I think that if that truth started getting told, the link above that I posted would be edited(even more) to no longer include the same information. Any mention of the legit warmth that really happened would be an after thought written off as speculation by a group of non mainstream scientists in the past that has been replaced by todays superior science.
They did it to the Medieval Warm Period to negate it already.
Again, there really has been around 1 deg. C of warming the past 100 years and we are warming at a rate of around .14 Deg. C/decade, so we should warm by another 1 deg. D by the end of this century base on the well know physics of greenhouse gas warming. This is authentic science.
But its a climate optimum.
You want a climate crisis?
If we suddenly cooled temperatures .........just to the previous levels of 100 years ago and CO2 levels dropped back to 300 parts per million. At those levels, within 3 years, 1 billion people would starve to death because of the shortage of food. Food/crop prices would at least triple as we rationed the shortage in supplies because of the REAL climate crisis from COOLING.
Does this look like a crisis to you(it's from the United Nations)..........keep in mind that we've been told for 40 years, that the climate crisis would do the complete opposite of what the climate optimum is doing below:
