Given that we all know Trump can be very obnoxious
But in light of recent comments, especially the attack on Bubba Wallace
NASCAR is mostly Trump voters
Did the attack gain any votes
He constantly seems to nibble away at his swing voter, and even his base
Other comments make me wonder, what is he thinking
Given the constant media attacks and his re-action, the divided country with demonstrations etc
Who would want to be president at this time
I seriously doubt Trump wants the job
Let some body else take on the mess, and see if they can do any better
Trump might think they can't and will salvage his legacy by getting out, before things get worse
Trump really wants to be elected again but he does so many counter productive things that often qualify as no brainer huge unforced errors to hurt himself that it makes you wonder.
It seems strange to think about it this way bu you know its true:
Donald Trump is running against Donald Trump or put another way against NOT Donald Trump.
On the ballet, for most people they will see 2 names.............Donald Trump and whoever is NOT Donald Trump and vote according to that.
This is why they hid Joe Biden for 3 months............allowing Biden's lead to significantly increase. They keep rejecting that notion but of course that is what they did and of course it was brilliant.
Biden is one of the weakest candidates in history(McCain/Palin were pretty bad in 2008) and is barely getting by on fumes left in his cerebral tank.
But he still has good moments and is capable, with all the stars lining up of having a decent debate with Trump. With the MSM and many others rooting for him and expectations very low, he is in a favorable position to be seen in a positive way if he only has a few small gaffs..........which is likely.
But it still remains.
Trump vs whoever is not Trump.
Unless, in the unlikely event that Biden got very confused numerous times.
Then, for some voters, the choice becomes
Evil Trump vs A very confused man
"Does Trump want to be re-elected"
IMO absolutely, positively, it's the #1 motivator for everything he does... even though the way he's going about it in a lot of ways, may be counterproductive, he can't see it.
With his enormous ego, his greatest nightmare is seeing or hearing the words, "You're fired!"
Donald Trump is a dangerously stupid ignorant unstable man with serious personality disorders and evident narcissism. He brags that he doesn't read books -- Which is not a good thing to do in the 21st century…. brags that he never listens to anybody else and is consumed by conspiracies ...and IS s completely ignorant of basic science.
not surprisingly he is by far and away the worst president this country has ever had.

Hhe doesn't listen to his own political advisors
he doesn't listen to the American intelligence
He doesnt listen to Highly trained skilled expert published medical doctors and scientists
he's simply is incapable of considering any other ideas besides his own.
I have no idea whether or not he wants when the 2020 election. But since we are not dealing with a rational sane person it's obvious that he is not going to listen to any data for any any insights from anybody that tells him his current strategy of philosophy is not working.
