U.S. #corn conditions unchanged at 69% good/excellent,

 #soybeans up 1 pt to 69% good/exc. Spring

 #wheat unchanged at 68%. One-quarter of the soybean crop has begun setting pods and 59% of the corn has reached or passed the silking stage (vs 29% last week).

Conditions for U.S. #soybeans went up 1 pt to 69% good/excellent, bolstered by a massive 8-point increase in top soybean producer Illinois.

U.S. #corn conditions remained steady at 69% good/excellent. Some smaller, offsetting changes were made in the major producers, but conditions plunged in North Carolina and Pennsylvania.

Farmers in Mato Grosso, #Brazil had collected 76% of their 2nd #corn crop as of July 17. That is about 10 pts better than the 5-year avg but about 10 pts behind last year. 2018's short crop was harvested at a slightly below average pace.
