Children and covid19

not long ago, it was said that small children were immune to Covid19. Now, I heard on the radio the shocking news that some 90,000 children had been tested as positive.

That should take care of the question about whether to open schools or not !

But...... wait a minute...

It says here that adults up to age 24 are being counted as "children"

Is there no end to all this deception?

My sister-in-law is worried sick if her grand children go to public school

I tell her the benefits out weigh the danger

Children have to learn to socialize and be a part of a larger group than just the family. This is the age when children learn the most, the quickest

And this in our country that has a reasonable rate of success with covid infections and death, thus the risk is less

But what if my grand child were to die, she says

I say every day anybody gets out of bed you have risk. Put the risk in perspective with all other risks

It's  not as if this is the 1st time the country has been in danger. The country survived and did rather well, all things considered

Risk vs reward
