Don’t believe the left: This anti-Trump FBI lawyer’s abuse was outrageous

https://nypost.com/2020/08/14/dont-believe-the-left-this-anti-trump-fbi-lawyers-abuse-was-outrageous/

"Make no mistake: A lawyer who worked for the nation’s top law-enforcement agency worked to take down the president. That’s a big deal. No matter what Democrats would have you believe."

CNN's take:

Former FBI lawyer set to plead guilty to altering email during Russia investigation

https://www.cnn.com/2020/08/14/politics/fbi-russia-clinesmith/index.html

"Friday's charge represents the first public production from the highly anticipated Durham investigation and will likely provide political fodder for Trump amid a storm of negative headlines regarding his management of the coronavirus pandemic."

"Kevin deeply regrets having altered the email," Clinesmith's lawyer, Justin Shur, said in a statement Friday. "It was never his intent to mislead the court or his colleagues as he believed the information he relayed was accurate. But Kevin understands what he did was wrong and accepts responsibility."

metmike: This has absolutely nothing to do with the coronavirus. This is shifty, yellow journalism for CNN to bring  the coronavirus up at the top of their story to intentionally lead readers into thinking that this is just something political that Trump will use to offset the damage he's incurred from COVID.

Forget about the coronavirus. Forget that this happened to Trump(ok, that one is impossible because it happened because he was Trump).

An outrageous crime was committed. Please report objectively on that crime.

So why haven't Comey, Clapper and a few others not been investigated for crimes

Looks like the little guy is thrown under the bus while the big fish escape

Wayne,

The investigation into the corruption is still ongoing.

Horowitz found 17 separate errors that could not be explained(other than blatant incompetence or corruption).

On the other hand, news on this before the election will be seen as political.
