So two sheriffs publicly switched from Dem to Pub. Nothing too much news in that announcement as Dems have been coming over to the pubs for some time. Maybe the publicity is news but some thing else caught my eye
When I read the comments section nobody was in favour of the Dems. Now I expect the people were free to express their true feelings, with some degree of privacy. Many expressed their thoughts about pollsters and said they never say what they truly believe
This indicated to me that there is a huge number of Trump supporters out there that is not reflected in the Trump/Biden polls
I believe the Trump supporters are just not going to tell the Dems how badly the Dems are losing this election
Still think the DNC will force a supreme court judgement, no matter what the ballot says
If so, then what is to stop every future election from going to the supreme court
I think the Dems have painted themselves into a corner of supreme court regardless, especially after Hillary spilled the beans about not conceding the election
Give me on logical reason a former Trump supporter would switch to Biden..

Our local sheriff switched parties from Dem to Rep last Thursday. He is actually a friend of 30 years.

Where are you getting this news from?
All I could find was Democratic sheriffs switching to the Republican party, with this one exception below that had more to do with the fact that they were running for the first time in a county that is strongly democratic and know their chances to get the most votes would be as a democrat(our sheriff switching in this republican county may have been looking at that though he was elected for 2 terms as a dem already).
The others, mainly stated they did it for values and their belief systems from what I read.....and of course the republicans support our police and the democrats have been trashing police, the flag and our country and proposing defunding them.

I get a lot of news from Zero Hedge, Breibart, Bloomberg, CNN, The Hill, Ag Talk just off the top of my head
Some sites are so full of advertisement it is impossible to read the story.. Some sites change their format and I don't always follow so good.
I try for balanced news but might not be balanced, I dunno. I have other sites book marked but can't remember and you know I can't do a link. Sorry Mike. I am lucky to remember how to point the cursor and click
The sheriff comments was from Zero Hedge. I think 214 comments but did not read all of them once I sort of got the gist. I don't know if the story is still up or if another story is in that place
Zero Hedge changes and deletes articles constantly, during the day and re-prints a lot of stuff, with permission, from other people
I read Zero Hedge as they have articles on economics, and world affairs [geo politico might describe some of their articles better]. For instance they cover India border clashes, which I don't find else where. They also cover Turkey and some other countries and some times the trade war with china. Also Iran and Iraq.. Some news about china and their silk road plus china in Africa. I also got a lot of info [if true] about a possible chinese food shortage from Zero Hedge, with crop pics.
The comments part is rarely a feature on Zero Hedge but was this time about the sheriff issue
