#Australia cut its #barley export forecast by 6% after #China's huge tariff. China used to account for up to 70% of AU's barley exports. Not saying it's the exact same, but exports of U.S. #soybeans dropped 19% YOY right after the July 2018 tariff despite +37% YOY to others.

Right now is the height of #Brazil's #corn shipping season. Sept 2020 corn exports are predicted to be ~45% heavier than those for soy, and they could challenge last year's record for the month of 6.4 mmt.

Traffic of #soybeans, Sept. 17, 2020 vs. Sept. 17, 2019. #Brazil's Aug 2020 shipments were a bit larger than in 2019, but Sept exports will likely fall short of those in Sept 2019. So the two maps should be similar. Around 70-75% on the 2020 map are likely headed to #China.

#China is leaving its low tariff rate quotas (TRQ) unchanged in 2021. That's 9.636 mmt for #wheat, 7.2 mmt for #corn, and 5.32 mmt for rice.
