When fascism comes to America, it will not be in brown and black shirts. It will not be with jack-boots. It will be Nike sneakers and Smiley shirts."

Nancy Pelosi: In January, Joe Biden will be inaugurated as President of the United States, no matter who wins the election.

The end of democracy!

Yeah.  That's a beaut.   Ironic that the democrat party appears opposed to democratic elections.

But I was just thinking. A man like Reagan was governor of California 40 years ago.   Mind boggling...

I thought that Biden gave a good speech yesterday.

I actually listened to it on NPR, so they were biased for him but made a good point about Biden bringing in God and religion to his speech.

Biden was obviously making an appeal to republicans in order to try to unite the country because there are a lot of republicans that have religion in their lives. This is a good thing under all circumstances but NPR stated that when doing this, Biden needs to come across as being believable and people are going to have to believe that he is sincere about suddenly bringing religion into his speeches.

They brought that up without actually saying it but they obviously recognized the sudden change in Bidens tone/words........quoting passages from Scripture for instance that he says he was thinking about after the election.

If Biden was spending a great deal of time reading and reflecting on the bible after the election, then it's a different Joe Biden that I thought that I knew based on following him.

It's much more likely that this is a marketing scheme trying to appeal to religious republicans.

I am ok with him trying to unite the country but using fake schemes pretending to suddenly find religion?

Regardless, I am willing to give Biden a chance but here is where the problem is going to come for me.

No matter how nice he is and no matter what he says to bring us together(which I applaud him for-but please, don't get too fake about it or you blow your cover/sincerity-even NPR saw that last night) when it comes down to the time to start passing policies and agenda, he can plead for unity all he wants but if the agenda stinks, the side that opposes his crappy agenda, is not going to come together because he's saying nice things and asking for unity.

For instance. He has vowed, that the first thing that he will do as president is sign the US back up with the Climate Accord.

Recently even going beyond that and stating that he and the US will lead the rest of the world in eliminating fossil fuels.

This is THE signature issue for me, an atmospheric scientist.

By itself, I was willing to overlook President Trumps many character flaws and telling lies just because he had it so right on the fraudulent Climate Accord(though Trump had some other good agenda).

As right as Trump was on the Climate Accord, Biden has it exactly the opposite but even worse in the wrong direction.

With Trump, he just didn't want to participate in the fraud and horrible deal for the US.............so no benefits, just no damage to the US and representing the truth.

With Biden, it's massive damage, especially to our economy. It means huge increases to the cost of our energy bills.........for transportation, for heating/cooling.......in paying carbon/energy taxes.

No matter how often or emphatically he asks for me to unite with him in his supposed altruistic objective to save the planet(which is greening up because it loves CO2 and this wonderful weather) I will never consider being part of this bogus, anti science, US damaging, intelligence stealing scheme.

I will speak out and continue to show the data/authentic science to expose this agenda that, even if it were sincere, would have no affect on our climate.

The Climate Accord allows China(which emits double our emissions)  and India to continue to increase CO2 emissions AND to get our money because the Climate Accord designated them as "undeveloped" poor countries.

So according to this agreement, it's ok for poor countries to destroy the planet but not rich countries!

And rich countries have to pay reparations to the poor countries because we supposedly wrecked their climate.

I am 100% in favor of donating more humanitarian aid to poor countries and the less fortunate. Also for cutting back on over consumption of natural resources.....another objective of the climate accord. The US has more than we need and wastes more than we should.

But please, don't trick the world/US into doing the right thing with a fake climate crisis and use propaganda to brainwash them/us..........stealing their/our intelligence about weather/climate in order to scare them to death into thinking that the planet will be uninhabitable(there are millions of people, especially children suffering from a new ailment, called "Eco-Anxiety as a result of this) .

One of our freedoms, is the right to know the truth and not be used by lies to trick us into doing what you think needs to be done and we might not support based on the truth.

If we don't want global socialism and you do and you are convinced that global socialism will help the most poor people/countries(it probably will) that doesn't give  you the right to make up a fake climate crisis to trick us and steal our intelligence(which is worse then taking our money), so that you can impose global socialism.

President elect Biden has signaled that he is not only on board with this but he will lead the way forward.

Regardless, I am likely to agree with him on some issues, like health care and on those issues, will be first in line to unite.

Our country, Canada belongs to the climate accord

We have a carbon tax which costs each of us plenty. No exceptions for income, we all pay. You will also pay

Joe will also be pushed to be more ambitious in starting alternative energy and energy saving. This will cost huge amounts of money. No matter how the plan is supposed to work, it will eventually cost a lot of  gov't spending. Now you all know that when the gov't spends more than income, they deficit is financed by the Fed printing dollars from thin air. Joe may cut some existing budgets, but not enough and will implement more environmental regulations

The bottom line is your dollar will go down as you folks will print more than other countries, relative to GDP although the Green Deal will be included in GDP, investors may not see this as a good use of money spent. After all gov't money spent does not float all boats, as would individual biz selling goods the world wants. Existing tech for Green energy production does no make energy cheaper, it is the opposite, increases cost of energy

Bottom line is your dollar will de-value/ Look at the loonie if you want to look to the future

Grain and meat farmers will benefit from a weaker dollar. Those with weekly pay cheques will lose, big time, as cost of goods go up with a weaker dollar

If solar is a big part of spending then silver will go up due to increased useage. Silver keeps costing me more, don't know if I can find a lower entry price but I want more physical, even at these premiums

Are there enough reasons why Joe will preside over an economy that will crash or will it be Harris

The Devos crowd is happy.  If you know what I mean by the Devos people, I don't need to explain. If you don't, then don't waste time and effort as it will all end badly for you and me. Nothing we can do, assuming Joe is pushed hard left
