For 4 years we've all heard chatter about Republicans "in private" objecting to Trump's words and actions while singing a different tune in public.

Now we have clear confirmation.  Liz Cheney, 3rd most powerful Republican in the house, voted her conscience to impeach Trump.  Republicans clamored for a vote to strip her of her post.  But the vote, unlike all other votes, was by secret ballot.  145 Republicans voted for her to retain her post, 60 voted to remove Cheney.  The implications are clear.

Now we have Marjorie Greene.  Let us review the GOPs latest star.  

She said and/or posted school shootings at Park Ridge and Sandy Hook didn't happen and even harassed victims' parents.

She actually said and posted her support of QAnon and all their craziness:   “There’s a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to take this global cabal of Satan-worshiping pedophiles out, and I think we have the president to do it,” she said.

She has said and/or posted a theory that the California wild fires this past summer were started by "Jewish laser beams from outer space".  (ya can't make this stuff up)

She said in a 2018 video that "so-called plane that Crashed into the Pentagon. It’s odd there’s never any evidence shown for a plane in the Pentagon..."

In another, from April 2018, a commenter asked, “Now do we get to hang them ??” referring to former president Barack Obama and former Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton, KFile reported. In response, Greene did not denounce the suggestion of assassination and instead wrote, “Stage is being set. Players are being put in place. We must be patient. This must be done perfectly or liberal judges would let them off.”

She has posted a picture of herself with an AR15 pointed at the women of color that has been dubbed "the Squad" with the caption "we're coming for you".

It goes on and on...

This should have been an easy one for GOP minority leader Kevin McCarthy but after his trip to kiss Trump's ring he does nothing to remove her from the education committee "Sandy Hook never happened".   So now the Democrats are taking the unprecedented step of holding a vote that will, I believe, go on party lines.  Unprecedented action for an unprecedented kook.  (she almost makes Trump look like an establishment figure). The GOP will hang their hat on the flimsy argument that this precedent will open the door to future power moves.

Will 145 Republicans vote to remove her?  I doubt it.  Now it isn't a secret ballot and they fear the ghost of Donald Trump (who endorsed her).   Spineless!

The GOP is not only the Trump party.  It will now choose to be the QAnon party.
