the majority of jobs created during the obama years were in the medical sector.

the majority of jobs created in the medical sector under obama were in shuffling paperwork.  this basically means bureaucracy jobs.

i remember reading an article about a hospital that had 900 hospital beds, but they also had 1500 billing clerks.   these are NOT productive jobs.  often,  these are people who argue back and forth over billing (whats covered, and whats not, or how much).  more bureaucracy does Not add a lot to economic growth.  it tends to make things more stagnant.

all those people shuffling paperwork are Not inventing better solar panels, or better EV cars, or better cell phones. etc.  they are not even inventing better medicines, or better medical devices.
