This is all fun and games until they bury the US economy under all these fees and increase energy prices.
They probably figured out a way to get a piece of the pie.

People in the fossil fuel industry are being attacked and blamed and characterized as selfish people, destroying the planet for a profit.
They are being made out to be bad guys, as the REAL world of humans enjoys the massive benefits and high quality of life and increasing life spans and comforts from their efforts to supply us with cheap, reliable, power packed, abundant and convenient fossil fuels.
But that was no match for the manufactured, fake apocalypse and billions of people on the planet being scared and convinced that our greening planet, with the best weather and climate in over 1,000 years for life...............will be destroyed by the beneficial CO2 from fossil fuels and slight global warming(which most life is loving).
If they take this new approach...........they are no longer seen as the bad guys and are seen as part of the "save the planet" scheme.
They are doing it to survive and possibly thrive.
Make friends with your enemy....so you can keep an eye on them.
