Green energy

Green energy may not be so far  in our future as many of us think

Depending on the price of fossil fuel and the advances made with battery storage, green energy may be closer than we think. Do wind towers need battery storage on the high plains???

Granted wind turbines and solar has a limited shelf life but so does oil and gas reserves

Actually the transmission for green energy to where it is needed is the bigger cost some time now or in the future

But when a large part of the  population wants EV and will pay for EV then you can imagine the pressure to tax fossil fuel

I have no idea how this will play out, but I will bet large sums of money that some time in the next 10-15-20 yrs we will have large amounts of green energy

Thanks Wayne!

Yep, the train has left the station on this..............regardless of the climate or other very destructive environmental aspects.

It's basically a done deal and part of the cultural revolution

Based on objective authentic science we are having a climate optimum with the best weather and climate in the last 1,000 years for most life on this planet. The planet is massively greening up not in spite of but exactly BECAUSE of the climate optimum(climate change) and especially the increase in the beneficial gas, CO2.

So we hear that its a (manufactured) climate crisis.

And the solution?

Wreck millions of acres that can be used to grow green things and put up bird killing, ugly and costly mechanical devices(wind turbines) that only last 20-25 years and only work when the wind is blowing...... then have to be replaced. The old ones causing massive waste in landfills. And to manufacture them, we have to tear up the ground to mine natural resources used in building them.

Solar has a different pathway but also uses up natural resources and results in toxic waste in landfills after 20-25 years and only produce when the sun is shining and are also anti environmental but not quite as bad as wind turbines.

So between those 2 and fossil fuels, by an extremely wide margin, fossil fuels are MUCH more environmentally friendly.

Fossil fuels helped rescue the planet from dangerously low levels of CO2(the optimal level for plants is more than double this at 900 ppm). Increasing CO2 was the best thing that humans did for life on this planet............by an extraordinarily wide margin base on all the authentic science.

But the fake climate science sold to us today is just climate politics disguised as science. They hijacked climate science for their political agenda..............socialism. They are wrecking the environment, while pretending to be saving it.

We can't provide much more than a fraction of the energy needed for our homes and businesses using solar and wind right now.

It's not practicable/viable by any reasonable standards or rational thinking to claim that we will be meeting  the demand from that sector in 2050 using solar and wind.

Not only do they claim that, they also tell us green energy will do that AND create enough energy to also power hundreds of millions of vehicles.

Using batteries that also require tearing up the earth to extract/mine for natural resources to make them.........and that lose more than 70% of the power generated from the solar/wind sources that has to be transported with transmission lines and also stored for long periods in the batteries.

With gasoline, you pour it into your tank and it can sit there for a month and doesn't lose 1 iota of energy.

The physical, chemical, economical and environmental laws of man and nature are being blatantly violated by some of the promises they make with the Green new deal.

And the climate accord will do very little to affect the climate and certainly not the weather.

Funny thing.

If fossil fuels were just discovered and the combustible engine invented.......and there was no political agenda, the world would be doing everything possible to convert from solar and wind to fossil fuels ASAP!

We've got everything completely backwards in this realm!

Here's another significant element that don't tell you.

So if we don't use CO2=pollution here in 2021 to take all these political actions to save the planet.........we will suffer the consequences of these super extreme apocalyptic scenario's based on model projections of continuing to burn fossil fuels to 2100 and beyond but............. hey, wait a minute.

There should be some coal left then but oil and natural gas will be depleted.

So if we do NOTHING. That problem with burning fossil fuels will take care of itself.

I actually would be ok with them telling us that we need to develop alternative energy because fossil fuels will be running out long before this century is over............because they would be telling the truth.

When will fossil fuels run out?

How many years of fossil fuels are left?
