Consumer Sentiment took a downward turn this last report.  Certainly a red flag,  but bears watching.  We consumers  can be a little fickle.

Small Business had a much brighter outlook.

Retail Sales took a nice turn, beating expectations,  but Consumer Sentiment may impact that next month. Bars/Restaurants added nicely to the numbers, BTW.

RedBook tempered a bit,  but remains in previously unseen territory.

Jobless Claims are establishing a range in the high normal.  Nice news.

Job Openings remain in an unheard of 9 million + range.  Somethings gotta give.  I'm watching this closely.

PMI and ISM Svc's moderated a bit but still remain in the very high 60+ range.

Mfg Remains a bright spot. Industrial Production settled a bit but Capacity is still being stretched a bit further.

A solid C+ for the week(s), with a weather eye on Consumer Sentiment.
