Recently a trans gender biological male competed in the women's Olympic heavy weight lifting competition
As this was an Olympic competition, you can imagine the publicity and opinions before this event
Sadly for the trans gender male, she was eliminated early in the competition
However, most women's sports have been forced to include biological trans gender males
The current thinking is that more and more biological males will compete in women's sports leaving many women at a disadvantage
However, some want to be seen as all inclusive, to the point of allowing entering women's bathrooms, changing areas etc.
I don't have a daughter but obviously our family has a number of females
I am outraged at our society to even consider such practices as any thought of inclusive is foreign to my way of thinking
There must be boundaries , to protect our daughter's, be it in sports or the changing rooms etc.
To me a male is a male, a female is a female and there are times when common decency and fairness should prevail
Now the flip side is a young women who played ice hockey with my son all the way through high school
There was no hockey team for her to play on, when she got older. She had her own dressing room, and was a talented hockey player. She belonged on that team due to her sports ability. I had no problem with her, as she deserved a place to play. I would not think so kindly if she entered the change room etc. until immediately before everybody was ready to go play the game and last minute team plays etc were discussed. Her father was the coach and he enforced strict rules about acceptable conduct.
So maybe I have a double standard
There is some dude breaking all the female track event records
I heard of a motor cyclist who identifies as a bicyclist. He's shattering world records.
Yeah, this makes just as much sense to me.
Pretty crazy!
This is defying the laws of natural.
It's perfectly ok, if you were born a man..........but your brain and spirit and desires/feelings, sexuality and so on identify with a woman.
Good for you, in today's world to be accepted in the decision to change your gender and to have all the options, like surgeries and hormones and science/medicine available to assist you.
But you are still living inside a man's body.
Men's bodies, on average are bigger, stronger, faster and more athletic.
How many women are in NFL or NBA or MLB. Zero and for that reason.
Women have their own sports competing against other women, with them all of them living in womens bodies.
We break up competitions based on gender and age for the reason of fairness.
5 year old's don't compete with 15 year olds. In open divisions with no age limits like boxing and weight lifting we have divisions by weight. .....to be fair.
Would it make sense for a 300 lb man to compete in weightlifting with a 150 lb man?
The exact same no brainer principle applies with gender.
When I was powerlifting 45 years ago and bench pressed 345 lbs while weighing 165 lbs, I could have been the strongest woman in the world for my weight!!!

165 lbs body weight 345 lb bench press Allison Hind 09/28/2019 HERC USA
For men, maybe I would have been in 10,000th place?

The world record for men is 523 lbs..........almost 180 lbs more!
Amazing bench pressing!
