Fred not a major threat right now but needs to be monitored closely.

The name Michael was eliminated when Hurricane Michael hit the hurricane hall of fame in 2018 and caused that name to be retired forever. Now replaced with Milton, which will make his debut in 2024(6 years after Michael wreaked havoc).

So Fred was nothing special and followed Florida's coast line. Grace looks to take a more direct route to the center of the Gulf.
Thanks much Jim!
I would have started another thread for Grace but she looks so wimpy and Fred is still out there so let's combine the 2.
Like you showed/typed, the path of Grace is in the heart of GOM energy interests, so if the forecast increased the strength to a hurricane, I wouldn't want to be short NG or even the liquid energies.

Looks like Fred took a dive to the west and Grace current path is moving more south.
Great observation Jim!
Grace will track over some warmer waters also and now is expected to get close to a cat. 1 hurricane at 70 mph.
Still no major threat to ng market but I wouldn't want to be short if the intensity goes up.
Fred is having a burst of strength here with water tempertures around 86 deg. at the very end his existence, before hitting the panhandle of FL and is almost a cat. 1 hurricane.
Scroll up to the top page for Fred info.
Fred moving northeast and weakening:
Grace now a hurricane!
Not so wimpy anymore! But still no serious threat to NG platforms in the GOM.

Grace back up to 85 mph going just over 100 mph later today before hitting Mexico. Staying in far S. GOM.
