Robust for wheat, nothing to write home about for corn/beans.

Export inspections last week were solidly in line with expectations for #corn and #soybeans but above in #wheat.

Some 341kt corn were inspected for #China, as were 3 wheat cargoes, 2 of #sorghum, and 1 of soybeans.

U.S. export sales were mostly as expected last week, though #wheat fell short. #China cancelled 135kt old-crop #corn (offset by other purchases), #Mexico bought 492kt new crop. China bought 935kt new-crop #soybeans, unknown bought 588kt.

USA as of Aug. 19 had sold 19.3 mmt (759 mbu) of #corn for export in 2021/22, easily the most for the date in 15+ yrs (ever?).

#China, who has been inactive on this front since May, plays a big part. Without China's purchases, the 8.5 mmt sold so far looks closer to average.
