U.S. field work progressed at a slower pace last week than the trade expected, but harvest of #corn and #soybeans remains ahead of normal pace. Those plus #cotton harvest and #wheat planting are behind last year's pace.

Harvest of U.S. #soybeans was 60% complete as of Sunday, ahead of the recent average, but progress has slowed in the latest two weeks. Last year's harvest was 73% complete on the same date.

The U.S. #corn harvest was 52% complete as of Sunday. Progress has been ahead of the recent five-year average since the start, but it is advancing normally, not quickly. Maybe slightly slower in the last week.
