A funny thing has happened to me during the pandemic. I got healthier!
Before the pandemic I would get sick every winter with the flu (yes I get a flu shot every year). But when the pandemic hit, I started wearing the N95 mask whenever I am in a public indoor space. Even now after getting fully vaccinated I wear it when in public indoor spaces. So the past 2 years I haven't gotten sick (jinx). I plan on wearing it even after the pandemic is over.
The only annoyance is that when on a train, bus or airplane my reading glasses fog up. Guess I'll have to go with audio books...

Anybody else got success stories like this based on smart decisions?
I know exactly what you mean on the glasses fogging up joj.
The trick with the N95 masks....that I’m no good at is to get the nose part snug enough so that air doesn’t come out thru the crack at the top of the mask when you exhale.
I’m guessing too that any air coming in or going out that way is unfiltered and reducing the effectiveness slightly.

The numbers have spiked to much higher than a year ago. Fortunately, Omicron is not as severe as Delta but there are currently half a million new cases/day!!!!
