I am sure some of you have been paying attention to russian demands that NG exports be paid for in rubles

What do you think will happen to price of

 russian commodities,

 ruble value

 price of gold

price of oil

 Any other thoughts

The article that made the most sense to me was - buyers of russian energy  may be in a scramble to buy gold as the russian bank is willing to buy gold at approx 1940 USD at todays values for rubles. In other words to get rubles [unless you have lots of rubles which few if any do] you need gold to buy rubles to pay for NG

There are other possibilities which you may have some thoughts, such as not buying russian NG. But I leave that to you to think about

And by the way, the petro dollar may be no more. Not for sure, just maybe

Can the world go with out russian energy. Will India and china buy energy from russia??
