Georgia Sec of State testified that 28,000 Republicans voted Republican down ballot but chose not to vote for president.

Usually the top of the ticket gets more votes than down ballot.

And the chairman admitted there would be no referral to justice but dog gone it our Ag and all his employees are watching every second as to gather information to press charges. See any dilemma here. Kind of makes a guy wonder if all those employees of the comedy idiot let in by Schiff might maybe ought to be charged as well as Schiff doesn't? Well if we only had a balanced and non bias justice system that is

mcfarm,

Why do you keep throwing Schiff's name around to negate legit facts instead of using facts to debunk facts?

not throwing schiff name around. reports by many services Schiff and his staff were the ones who allowed the insurrectionist in the capitol....so sorry but reported multiple times. Only odd  part how these particular insurrectionist got out of jail in one nite....maybe the left leaning thugs involved get special treatment, ya think? Just why is that? Oh I don't know maybe if a person wants Trumps. in jail that means all others must apologize and pretend. Remember that justice is blind? Boy by the day that is the thing that disappeared. Started years ago but has it gotten worse, Guess the riots in 2020 and 21 many thought it peaked these hearings and how they are being handled by the Ag and the unfair treatment of people committing the very same offense says a lot.

House Republicans accuse Rep. Adam Schiff of allowing Colbert staff into Capitol

mcfarm,

Thanks for displaying what Fox news can do to magnify the significance of something insignificant 1 million times and downplay the much more significant situation by 1 million times.

Using the term Insurrectionist for this group, like Fox/Tucker is putting in your brain is like calling 2 year old baby with a toy football an NFL Hall of Famer (-:

Or, when the same baby picks up a toy gun, call him/her a mass murderer.

Tucker and Hannity spent more time reporting the facts about this trivial incident than they did showing the actual facts presented at the  Jan 6th hearings(other than what they made up)

House Jan. 6 committee focuses on "fake electors" and threats to public servants amid Trump pressure campaign

https://www.cbsnews.com/live-updates/january-6-house-committee-hearing-schedule-day-4-trump-pressure-state-officials-2022-06-21/

The House select committee investigating the Jan. 6, 2021, attack on the U.S. Capitol in Tuesday's hearing detailed the threats made to state lawmakers and election officials and workers in Arizona and Georgia, as President Donald Trump and his allies tried to get them to overturn the election results in their states.

The committee sought on Tuesday to bring to light the severity of the threat to democracy in the days and weeks after the election, given the enormous and persistent pressure by the president and by Rudy Giuliani on officials and ordinary Americans to promote the "big lie" that Trump had won the election. The ability of these Americans to withstand that pressure came at a great personal cost.

"Our democracy held because courageous people like you heard today put their oath to the constitution above their loyalty to one man," Committee member Rep. Adam Schiff said.
"The system held but barely and the question remains, will it hold again?"

The hearing laid out the plan hatched by Trump and his allies in Arizona to replace the bona fide Biden electors with phony ones. The fake electors gathered in Arizona, which Arizona House Speaker Rusty Bowers referred to as a "tragic parody." Bowers refused to have any involvement in the fake electors plan being pushed by Giuliani.

Cheney calls Tuesday's testimony "particularly compelling"

Cheney told reporters that the committee is "putting forth very clearly a number of instances in which there are serious questions about the actions of the former president."

Cheney described Tuesday's testimony as "particularly compelling" because it included Republicans and Democrats who did what they thought was right despite pressure from Trump.

Former Watergate prosecutor believes former President Trump will be indicted in Georgia

Former Watergate prosecutor Nick Akerman joins CBS News' Tanya Rivero and Lana Zak to break down the fourth public hearing of the Jan. 6 House committee. Ackerman predicts former President Donald Trump will be indicted in Georgia over the so-called "Big Lie."

sounds about right for you guys. One side does it and its insurrection, the other side does it and its trivial. You guys are blinded by the hate. bias. and partisanship. But dog gone it you are always fair and balanced. So Colbert calls it trivial and laughed out loud {which he did live on Tv} and you follow right along. Congrats on the backbone.

Claim: Tucker Carlson: The Sworn Enemy of Lying, Pomposity, Smugness & Groupthink

r/tucker_carlson

https://libredd.it/r/tucker_carlson

Tucker Carlson is the sworn enemy of lying, pomposity, smugness and groupthink. His goal is to pierce pomposity, translate double-speak, mock smugness and barbecue nonsense as he debates people from all across the political spectrum every weeknight on Tucker Carlson Tonight!    Tune into 'Tucker Carlson Tonight' weeknights at 8 PM ET on Fox News Channel!

54.8k

Finding: Tucker Carlson is the EPITOME of lying, pomposity, smugness and groupthink AND HYPOCRISY TOO for being the polar opposite of what he claims to be.

He uses those false claims as part of  a marketing scheme to convince his cult like following that he is against the very things that define him. Since he only tells his viewers things that confirm what he wants them to think..........they believe him.  A quintessential example has been the Insurrection hearings that he completely censored from his show so that his viewers would not get the evidence but instead, only what HE TOLD THEM to think.

If you watch Tucker on a regular basis, you will totally NOT believe this.

See..........told you he's captured the minds of his viewers so they are unable to see him for who he is.

metmike: Forgot to credit the source of the above..........me watching Tucker since he replaced Bill O'reilly. O'reilly actually told the truth much of the time. Biggest loss in Fox  history by a wide margin.

Jan. 6 committee delays hearing schedule until July

https://thehill.com/homenews/3533018-jan-6-committee-delays-hearing-schedule-until-july/

We’ve taken in some additional information that’s going to require additional work. So rather than present hearings that have not been the quality of the hearings in the past we made a decision to just move into sometime in July,” Thompson said.

Thursday’s hearing will continue as planned.

“There’s been a deluge of new evidence since we got started. And we just need to catch our breath, go through the new evidence, and then incorporate it into the hearings we have planned,” Rep. Jamie Raskin(D-Md.) told reporters.

Rep. Zoe Lofgren(D-Calif.) similarly mentioned a “mountain of new information.”

“I don’t think we’ve established a date yet, but we have a mountain of new information that’s come in that we have to go through,” Lofgren told The Hill.

The committee has recently received more information from the National Archives, and Raskin said it has also received information from other various sources — a comment that comes after the committee flashed its web address in the hopes of enticing new witnesses.

The new evidence includes recently turned over video footage from a British documentarian of the attack as well as interviews with former President Trump, his adult children and former Vice President Mike Pence— a figure the committee has been unable to convince to speak to investigators.

“We have gotten some additional information from a documentarian that we’ll have to review and some additional NARA production that’s going to require a little more time than we anticipated,” Thompson said, using the formal abbreviation for the National Archives.

The shift will leave Thursday’s hearing as the final event for the month of June. That session will focus on Trump’s pressure campaign at the Department of Justice.

metmike: More new evidence that will never see the light of day in far right or Fox news brains.

and just how far removed from the Steele dossier are we? And yet you can put blind faith into gov agencies investigating like they have no bias, are totally fair, that the defendants have some right to defense, cross examination, that the FBI has suddenly turned a corner and now never takes apolitical side////what a laugh/. Now as to the real reason the hearings have been called off......care to venture a real truthful guess

mcfarm,

I will repeat for the umpteenth time that the Insurrection and everything that led up to it was a completely different event.

Completely different people are investigating but you act as if it's the same thing from the same people and just can't tell the difference between truth or lies because Fox tells you that anything bad for republicans is a lie and if its good for them.......it's the truth.

Neither political party has a franchise on the truth.

If you believe one party all the time......................you will believe in lies some of the time.

Since Mike can't pick his own post as a post of the week, I'll do it for him as this surely is worthy. There's no reason why a moderator who posts frequently and contributes so much to this forum shouldn't be worthy of this distinct honor from time to time. So, it is my honor to name this a co-post of the week. I say co-post because another deserving post has already been given that honor.

I know about one truth right now. The FBI is involved. The Ag is involved. Neither can be believed or trusted. One should of been abolished long ago and the other is crazy as bat crap.

Gosh.  All this sudden new "evidence"  A deluge!!!. After how many millions of dollars, we're still finding lots of "New Stuff" after a year and a half and thousands of man hours in multiple investigations. We must extend our deadlines.

I mean,  this whole thing is pointless if we can't keep it going till at least the mid terms!!!

Side Note: So far, all the "New Stuff" has been repackaged "Old Stuff" that's been well known since shortly after 1/06/2021.

BTW JOJ, 28k ballots in  a state with about 5 million is not real significant.

And there has been no serious questions about the counts.
