Pelosi again

Since this is a forum of american posters, anything Canadian falls on deaf ears

So Pelosi has my attention for some ideas on her Asian trip

My understanding is she has no reason to go  on this trip at tax payer expense. I assume tax payers are footing the bill if reports of a fighter escort is true

My understanding is she has no authority to engage in treaty talks, or any thing else

So why is she going and why is the tax payer footing the travel bill along with  various other Dems and staff

Is this an example of people in power do what they want to do??? and ignore what they don't want to deal with

I will be interested to see if she gets the red carpet treatment when landing in any country. Also any remarks she may make in any country, that isn't just fluff.

Golly, wouldn't that make her feel even more important if foreign people take her seriously

Personally, I worry about any remarks she may make as I truly think we are as close to nuclear war as any time in history, including Cuba

Sadly Biden nor his handlers are not JFK

Wayne,

You just started a thread on the exact same topic.

To maximize communication between a small number of posters, it's best to stick with just 1 NEW thread on the same topic at the same time.........unless the first one has become burdensome in length.

Not liking the response from other posters doesn't mean, we just start over with a new thread and try for an echo chamber effect.

Thanks

Also, nobody is ignoring you or disrespecting you here because you're a Canadian, Wayne. That plays exactly 0.0000% of a role in how we feel  about and treat you compared to anybody else. If anything, I personally feel grateful to have somebody from Canada posting here that lives not that far from where I grew up in Michigan.......though Detroit is a far cry compared to Ontario farm country.

I know I started a thread on Pelosi but his thread was intended to go in  a different thought

I had hoped to not get the two thoughts mixed up, in one thread, and cause confusion

Wayne,

you’re repeating the exact  same reason that was mentioned for us NOT to do as your justification to do it.

Again, if you don’t like somebody’s response in a thread you started DO NOT start a new thread because of it.

we‘re striving to have conversations here between people that are exchanging ideas that often different.

you may prefer to go to echo chambers that tell you what you want to hear/read and prefer great threads that you start, feature posts that stick with what you want them to say but that ain’t happening here!

thanks
