Federal agents have evidence to charge Hunter Biden: report

https://nypost.com/2022/10/06/federal-agents-have-evidence-to-charge-hunter-biden-report/?utm_medium=browser_notifications&utm_source=pushly&utm_campaign=2420878

Hunter Biden himself announced in December of 2020 that his “tax affairs” were being investigated by federal authorities in Delaware, and said he was “confident that a professional and objective review of these matters will demonstrate that I handled my affairs legally and appropriately.”

At some point after that announcement, the first son paid off a tax bill totaling around $2 million.

metmike: It's pretty clear what's happened here. Anybody else would have been charged with some big crimes a couple of years ago,  that would have been made public.

Those could have resulted in jail time and would have also incurred some serious financial penalties, beyond just paying off the money he owed.

However, they have totally covered this up. In late 2020, Hunter coming out with the public statement that told us a lie about what really happened  was also clearly intended to control the narrative and dictated by somebody on the Joe Biden team NOT from Hunter who in a million years could never have thought up doing a press release to tell a misleading story (lie) about why he's being investigated.

When the story comes out..........it will be very similar to what Hunter was told to say in  the press release in December 2020.

In addition, we will be told that there was no intent by Hunter to defraud the government or commit any criminal acts, just some mistakes by somebody that sort of overlooked some tax laws or other things from ignorance of the law or complications in his life ...........and most importantly............he immediately corrected as soon as he was made aware of them.

So we will be told that since he corrected them by paying off a $2 million tax bill or whatever, everything is cool and there was never anything serious too this.

It will be a blatant lie and cover up because of preferential treatment since he's part of the protected Biden crime family.

Fox news, which blathers on about Trump and January 6th or COVID  BS, will go on and on about this. But they will be 100% correct on this topic!

Neither political party has a franchise on the truth.

If you believe one party all the time......................you will believe in lies some of the time.

I'd like to add to that.

"The trick is being able to tell the difference between lies and the truth, then choosing the truth from BOTH parties and rejecting their lies.

What makes that incredibly difficult to do is that the stronger your affiliation to a party is,  the more blindly you embrace all the tenets of their belief system!

DOJ Can't Credibly Indict Trump Unless They Charge Hunter Biden: Dershowitz

https://www.newsweek.com/alan-dershowitz-department-justice-indict-donald-trump-hunter-biden-1750038

Dershowitz said in August that he believed the unsealed affidavit supporting the FBI's search of Mar-a-Lago gives the DOJ enough evidence to indict the former president.

Speaking during an interview on Newsmax Thursday evening, Dershowitz, who served on Trump's defense team during the former president's first impeachment trial, said, "I'll tell you the man who should be most interested in assuring that Biden does not get prosecuted. And it's not Joe Biden, it's Donald Trump."

"Unless they indict Biden Jr., they will not credibly be able to indict Trump. But if they indict Biden Jr., [Attorney General Merrick] Garland will be able to say, 'Look how fair we are, we didn't go after Trump, we indicted the son of the president, and we indicted the man who's going to be running against the president. Fair is fair,'" Dershowitz said.

"So, these two cases are tragically linked, even though legally they shouldn't be linked at all," Dershowitz said.

Frank Figliuzzi, the FBI's former assistant director for counterintelligence, criticized Dershowitz's argument on Friday.

"What a twisted sense of how Justice works, and, what a false equivalency: Alan Dershowitz Claims DOJ Must Indict Biden To Indict Trump," Figliuzzi tweeted, linking to a Mediaite story about Dershowitz's comments.

metmike: Dershowitz is absolutely right but he misses the key element.

They will likely indite Hunter but the charges will be a watered down joke compared to the actual crimes that he really committed. And the prosecutor is likely to be on the side of the defense attorneys, all working towards damage control for his daddy.

if the pubs take control of congress,  you will see major investigations into affairs of the biden family.

they will go hard at people on the left,  just like the dems the last 2 years went after pubs (and trump).

of course liberals will cry the loudest about how the pubs are just being partisan by going after the bidens.

Even though this IS partisan, both Biden and Trump should be in prison based on legal standards that the rest of us in this country are held to.
