Joe Biden incorrectly described himself as the father of a man who "lost his life in Iraq" at a speech in Colorado on Wednesday.

The president said: "Just imagine, I mean it sincerely, I say this as a father of a man who won the Bronze Star, the conspicuous service medal, and lost his life in Iraq. Imagine the courage, the daring, and the genuine sacrifice—genuine sacrifice they all made."

metmike: His son died of brain cancer almost 6 years after leaving Iraq.

if you had not noticed Mr Biden has been pulling this crap since high school days.....and yet here we are. Sort of what happens when the press becomes a fully weaponised arm of the dem party and people pay attention. America suffers.

I'll just assume that it was another of the increasing Biden gaffes as he gradually loses more cognitive functioning.

Since this one is about the loss of his son from brain cancer,  it's a bad idea for us to use it(even if he wants to).

This one from loony land would be more appropriate:

“And guess what? The first frost, you knew what was happening. You had to put on your windshield wipers to get, literally, the oil slick off the window,” Biden said, according to a White House transcript of his remarks. “That’s why I and so damn many other people I grew up (with) have cancer and why can — for the longest time, Delaware had the highest cancer rate in the nation.”
