Fossil fuels are its own battery. A grid scale battery technology has not even been invented that could viably work to replace what our power plants generate today.
Absurdly, they want to ADD 40% more demand to the electricity grid by electrifying all vehicles.........selling it all .by making things up that defy the physical laws of energy.
If it was possible, the cost would be over 400 trillion in the USA. 20 times the the current GDP.
Impossible cost to do something which is impossible to begin with........just promises that it will work, while presenting NO viable or realistic evidence that it could ever come close to working.
Based on crony capitalism, political agenda and massive funding provided by governments to scientists (most climate scientists work for governments) along with the gatekeepers of messaging repeating things that extremely exaggerate or mislead on the true climate/weather but support a climate crisis, while burying the massive proof that indisputably debunks it.
And ignoring the real environmental crisis's because those don't pay the financial, power, political, and ratings rewards the can be obtained from pushing a fake climate crisis and that the beneficial gas, CO2 which is only half the optimal level for life is a form of pollution.

By all authentic scientific standards, we're having a climate OPTIMUM for life, similar to the scientifically defined Holocene climate OPTIMUM 6,000 years ago that was 2 deg. C WARMER than this in the higher latitudes with less Arctic sea ice.
Except now, we have 100 parts per million more beneficial CO2(420 ppm vs 300 ppm) which is causing a GREENER planet than what the earth experienced during the last climate OPTIMUM.
This is the best weather/climate and CO2 level for most life on this planet since humans existed. We rescued the planet from near CO2 starvation.

but it’s true that warmer air holds more moisture and rains have increased, including high end flooding events.

world food production would,plunge close to 30%. 1 billion people would starve within 3 years and only rich people could afford to eat with prices going up 5 to 10 times the current cost to ration supplies that were far short of demand.
the majority of food production today uses Synthetic fertilizer made using fossil fuels.
take that away, along with bringing back the climate of 1922 and world food production would plunge over 60%.
the consequences would be impossible to imagine.
billions would die of starvation and rich people that managed to afford food would be targets for people dying of starvation.
civilized society would cease to exist.
but they want us to believe that fossil fuels, which have given us most of the current technological advances and our abundant food are evil and beneficial CO2 is pollution.
