San Francisco board open to reparations with $5M payouts

San Francisco supervisors have expressed support for an ambitious reparations plan that would include a $5 million lump-sum payment for each eligible Black person, among other measures

SAN FRANCISCO -- Payments of $5 million to every eligible Black adult, the elimination of personal debt and tax burdens, guaranteed annual incomes of at least $97,000 for 250 years and homes in San Francisco for just $1 a family.

These were some of the more than 100 recommendations made by a city-appointed reparations committee tasked with the thorny question of how to atone for centuries of slavery and systemic racism. And the San Francisco Board of Supervisors hearing the report for the first time Tuesday voiced enthusiastic support for the ideas listed, with some saying money should not stop the city from doing the right thing.

Several supervisors said they were surprised to hear pushback from politically liberal San Franciscans apparently unaware that the legacy of slavery and racist policies continues to keep Black Americans on the bottom rungs of health, education and economic prosperity, and overrepresented in prisons and homeless populations.

“Those of my constituents who lost their minds about this proposal, it's not something we’re doing or we would do for other people. It’s something we would do for our future, for everybody's collective future,” said Supervisor Rafael Mandelman, whose district includes the heavily LGBTQ Castro neighborhood.

People have lost their ability to think critically and rationally!!!

2 decades ago, my sister, Patti adopted boys from Kenya, that lost their parents to Aids. They're pictured below.

Guess what she says about reparations?

We should note that this is also the same region where the SVB bank is located, run by  people with similar mindsets and agenda that live there.

Just like the ones that caused SVB Bank to collapse because investors lost trust in management's failing ideas.

the ones with these reparations proposals are living in a delusional world with the inability to view objective realities based on authentic facts.

Their brains have been captured by "woke" nonsense  principles that define every realm in our world as one that features extreme discrimination and social injustice that must require extreme actions to fix.

Woke (/ˈwk/ WOHK) is an adjective derived from African-American Vernacular English (AAVE) meaning "alert to racial prejudice and discrimination".[1][2] Beginning in the 2010s, it came to encompass a broader awareness of social inequalities such as sexism, and has also been used as shorthand for American Left ideas involving identity politics and social justice, such as the notion of white privilege and slavery reparations for African Americans.[3][4][5]

Note the epicenter of the world's deranged "wokeness" below:

Without a question, this has become an extreme and dangerous cult!

The bank above  financed 1,500 start up companies. Many using junk science, crony capitalism and government handouts that were COUNTER productive to our countries environmental and energy future.

Wokeism Is a Cruel and Dangerous Cult

Wokeism’s natural logic is to destroy the lives of people of both genders, of all races, and—if need be—of those of every age, all to leverage an otherwise unworkable ideological agenda.

Was listening to NPR, as I always do on weekday afternoons in my car.

They had an interview with a reporter from the San Francisco Chronicle on the reparations scheme.

The reporter was pretty emphatic about the need for African American reparations and several times, accused people that disagreed with him as being racists.

He stated that he was shocked at how many racists there are living in San Francisco. Even people from the left that he never imagined were racists.

Most of them, he said had the position that they didn't do anything to hurt blacks, so why should they pay for something that happened centuries ago.

According to his definition, they are racists.

Guess what she says about reparations?

Patti said: "Maybe the other families in Africa that were left behind, still living there today in poverty and no hope should file a class action lawsuit against the United States for leaving them behind!"

I totally understand the atrocity of what we did to those poor people in capturing them and turning them into slaves a few centuries ago.

But if you want to properly assess the legit damage to the lives of their ancestors TODAY, in an honest, objective, non political, non racist way...........you have to compare THEIR lives to what it would be like for them if that didn't happen.

my dad is 100% Irish. His dad changed the spelling of his last name when he came over here to make it look less Irish.

but that’s much different than black slaves which was the epitome of heinous discrimination.

Turning a person into your,property.

however, there are several mitigating factors.

1. they were following the laws. They were raised and taught that this was ok. It’s complete ignorance today to think that they should have known better. There was nothing but fraudulent human rights information for these people.slavery was accepted at some point in time in almost every country.

2. the loss Of the freedom their distant ancestors  had in Africa was tremendous and lasted for XXX number of years. At some point, the life of a black person living in the US became better than the life of an average African. This was a long time ago.

3. since then,  there have been mainly benefits for blacks in the US compared to living in Africand the benefits have only increased with time.

the current  generation of blacks in the US is enjoying tremendous benefits today at the expense of the awful slavery their ancestors were subjected to.

the people that caused the harm and suffered the harm died a very long time ago at a time when that harm was acceptable by the standards of that age.

the people of todays age are causing blacks to have a much better life and almost any opportunity they want compared to living in Africa.

we should be congratulating society for the tremendous progress and continue to build on it ….as things Are not perfect.

1. reparations  are 100% counterproductive. It takes us back to using race to treat people differently. And away from being color blind.

2. it gives white people a reason to hate blacks again and be against racial or minority justice Because they are strongly against this extreme, that punishes them and forces them to pay for free things that black people today didnt earn.

they work their arses off for years to earn things and the black people down the block get the same stuff for free in the same world today…..because  they are black?

why is there even a serious discussion bout something so retarded?

woke cult mentality is the reason!
