Thanks much Jean!

Y'ALL WON'T BELIEVE WHAT I FOUND!

Everybody believing this just got bamboozled by complete BS!

I realize that no matter how many times the authentic, conclusive information/proof explaining what happened and who was at fault (Trump) is presented here and elsewhere...........it doesn't matter. People don't want to believe that. They go to their favorite sites that tell them what they want to believe so they don't have to believe the objective truth which they want to reject.

For the umpteenth time, to bust this charlatan's fake news:

Pelosi did not block the National Guard from the Capitol on Jan. 6

https://apnews.com/article/fact-checking-235651652542

If you read/hear the same thing again from another charlatan like this, whether you believe it or not..... you are extremely encouraged to bring it back here like this to be fact checked again!

It's what I do.

At least that way, your brain has a chance to see the truth about this particular topic.

I won't include a couple dozen threads and 100+ posts with the additional facts because there's no chance that anybody would read them all and it will end up that they don't read any of it.

So please just read the 1 fact check above, which is all that's needed to obliterate the charlatan in this video 1.

I agree with the other stuff at the 2nd and 3rd links.

Then in the 4th video he talks about Trump whooping CNN's arse. I guess that's the position from people on planet Trump. Here on earth, Trump showed that he's a delusional, pathological liar nut case. Don't forget, the entire audience consisted of Rs and Trump loyalists. One objective of CNN in doing this Town Hall interview was to scare the crap out of the Ds and the  rest of the country by showing them how scary Trump and his followers are. CNN viewers never get to see it up and close because they spend all their time going to NON R sites. They were appalled and extremely upset. No regular viewer of CNN watching, thought "wow, Trump is making good points and the Ds have been hiding this from me". Trump cult people, were viewing this with their usual tunnel vision.

Here's another take closer to the truth:

https://www.theguardian.com/us-news/2023/may/11/toe-curlingly-bad-television-trumps-torturous-town-hall-backfires-on-cnn

This makes for good entertainment but I will make this profound point:

There will NEVER be harmony in this country related to politics. NEVER!

This is because the Rs stand for A, B, C, D to the letter M.

And the Ds stand for N, O, P, Q, R to the letter Z.

Their belief systems defines them like a religion. They gravitate to sites and information and biased reps that use   that reinforces what they believe and tells them what they want to read/hear.

If you're an R, you can't believe in Z........with a few exceptions.

If you're a D, you can't believe in A........with a few exceptions.

Our leaders exploit the use of resentment  politics to generate anger and create hate for the other side:

Thanks, Jean!

Love the analogy and especially the topic!

When I was getting my atmospheric and oceanic science degree at the University of Michigan, I really just wanted to know how to forecast the weather and didn't care that much about all the physical laws of the atmosphere.

However, they require you to know that to get the degree.  And to understand that, they required 5 semesters of math, 4 of physics and 4 of chemistry.

I like those subjects but was bored to death the first 2 years.......until I was in my first core atmospheric physics class when they taught us about why the sky is blue.

All of a sudden a light went on in my head and the previous learning about math/physics/chemistry fundamentals were much more appreciated from that point on.

There are dozens of videos and pictorial links on the internet but I liked this one the most for understand-ability to share:

Here's more from your favorite educational link, Jean (-:

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rayleigh_scattering

Rayleigh scattering (/ˈrli/ RAY-lee), named after the 19th-century British physicist Lord Rayleigh (John William Strutt),[1] is the predominantly elastic scattering of light or other electromagnetic radiation by particles much smaller than the wavelength of the radiation. For light frequencies well below the resonance frequency of the scattering particle (normal dispersion regime), the amount of scattering is inversely proportional to the fourth power of the wavelength.

Turns out that this isn't the first time for us to discuss this awesome topic on MarketForum! One of my earlier posts, a couple of months after taking over as moderator:

Why is the sky blue?

A clear cloudless day-time sky is blue because molecules in the air scatter blue light from the sun more than they scatter red light.  When we look towards the sun at sunset, we see red and orange colours because the blue light has been scattered out and away from the line of sight.

The white light from the sun is a mixture of all colours of the rainbow.  This was demonstrated by Isaac Newton, who used a prism to separate the different colours and so form a spectrum.  The colours of light are distinguished by their different wavelengths.  The visible part of the spectrum ranges from red light with a wavelength of about 720 nm, to violet with a wavelength of about 380 nm, with orange, yellow, green, blue and indigo between.  The three different types of colour receptors in the retina of the human eye respond most strongly to red, green and blue wavelengths, giving us our colour vision.
