Jean,
For some reason (not related to recent downtime) this post/thread won't allow comments. In my 5 years here, this has happened 2 dozen+ times, including my posts and usually occurs when I transfer a NTR post to a Trading forum post. Not sure why but I'm not paying $100/hour for them to fix it.
We just start another thread and go on.
Sorry about that!

I ASKED IF IT'S GONNA TAKE TWICE AS MUCH TO NAKE A BALE OF STRAW. "YEP! I ASKED IF THE HEADS WERE LOOKIN' GOOD, SEEING AS HOW THE PLANT DIDN'T WASTE ENERGY GROWING TALL. HE SAID THE TALK IS ~ IT WILL BE AVERAGE, OR EVEN A BIT ABOVE AVERAGE

Note that Ohio, Jean's home is leading the nation with the best rated oats crop right now!
Incredible 80% G/E!
PA is second at 65%, then everybody else is more than 25% lower than OH! IA and ND are 3rd at 52% G/E. NE is 5th with 51%.
The overall crop is 47% G/E(not so good). Down from 58% last year but +2% from last week.
