Biden: US running low on artillery ammunition

The United States risks losing its “moral leadership,” Rep. Barbara Lee said.

US to send cluster munitions banned by over 100 nations to Ukraine after months of debate

https://www.cnn.com/2023/07/07/politics/cluster-munitions/index.html

But the decision to send cluster munitions marks a watershed moment with the Biden administration agreeing to send a weapon that most countries have agreed should have no place in modern warfare.

++++++++++++++++++++++++

Joe Biden just blatantly exposed himself and completely lost the remaining moral high ground that he pretended to stand for.

400,000 dead people so far.

8 million displaced out of Ukraine

Heading towards 1 trillion in damages........the US tax payer will be footing much of this bill.

130 billion from US tax payers so far that could have helped to almost eliminate homelessness in our country as well as greatly helping the needy in so many ways in the US.........instead, going to fund death and destruction because corrupt Biden has skin in the game after receiving many millions from corrupt Ukraine entities as the big guy for Hunter's influence peddling. We can see clearly now, one of the things that bribe money purchased from Biden.

He only cares about destroying Russia no matter what it takes.

And both sides lying their arses off with propaganda, while nobody discusses peace, just unending war and 2 sides claiming they will win using constant lies to justify it.

If Ukraine somehow wins, the damages will be a trillion times worse than what they win.

This was so preventable.

There is a near 0% chance that Putin will  go after other countries after this. That's part of the propaganda used to keep the war going.

It will end eventually and there will finally be negotiating before that happens after people get even more fed up(its already started) and finally stop believing that we have to have a war.

When that happens, most people will say. "Why didn't we just negotiate BEFORE Ukraine was obliterated??" The war has accomplished nothing positive and will never accomplish peace.

Putin had no right to invade Ukraine but make no mistake, Zelensky is a US/NATO puppet sacrificing his people and country for their war instead of negotiating.

Putin is fighting to keep Ukraine out of NATO. This is Putin's top demand. Zelensky is fighting to become part of NATO.

People think that half a million dead(from both sides) and a trillion in damages is worth the right to be part of NATO. This is nuts!

There are several NATO countries that don't want Ukraine in NATO.

The poor Ukrainians and  their country have been obliterated. So very sad.

As long as Americans aren't getting killed.........and Russians ARE getting killed, people in the US have been convinced by the propaganda that we are doing Ukraine a huge favor.

Insane.  Stop letting them do this!

Politicians only care about money and power. If Americans finally stood up for the right thing and scared them into thinking it cost them come election time, watch how fast we stop the war in Ukraine.

The Military Industrial complex is having record profits, politicians are getting massive bribe/lobby money, the media is colluding with the propaganda because they hate Putin/Russia and are willing to overlook Ukraine being decimated to have that happen...........the rest of the world is suffering the consequences.

Numerous countries were already against us with this war. Watch how fast that number grows the rest of this year.

This is the beginning of the end for Biden's war and will just cause Bidens' demise to come with even more against his corruption and really, really bad judgements.

Treaty Banning Cluster Munitions Turns 10, but Without the US

https://www.hrw.org/news/2020/07/31/treaty-banning-cluster-munitions-turns-10-without-us

Cluster munitions are prohibited for two main reasons. First, they spread multiple bomblets or submunitions indiscriminately over a wide area, which can be devastating for civilians caught in a strike. Second, many submunitions fail to explode on initial impact, leaving dangerous duds that, like landmines, can kill and maim for years to come unless cleared and destroyed.

When the Convention on Cluster Munitions took effect, it had 38 States parties. That number has grown to 108 today, while another 17 countries have signed, but not completed ratification. A dozen nations have acceded to the convention since it took effect in 2010, including Cuba, Slovakia, and Sri Lanka.

The U.S. did not take part in the negotiations for or sign the Convention on Cluster Munitions, and we now know mostly from Wikileaks that behind-the-scenes the U.S. put pressure on its allies to not participate in the process at all, and if they did participate, to reject the notion of a ban.

The U.S. clings to its cluster munitions, but the last time it used them was in Iraq in 2003, with the exception of a single attack with cruise missiles equipped with cluster munition warheads in Yemen in 2009. As yet, there is no evidence to indicate the U.S. has restarted production or new transfers of cluster munitions.

When the Convention took effect, Human Rights Watch called it “the start of the formal life of the treaty and the end of the legitimacy of this indiscriminate weapon that has caused so much civilian suffering.” We asserted that “the stigma against cluster munitions is now so strong that no nation should ever use them again.”

One major reason for the lack of U.S. production and use of banned cluster munitions is that its traditional allies are among the most ardent proponents of the Convention on Cluster Munitions. The treaty includes France, Germany, the Netherlands, the United Kingdom, and 20 other NATO member States as well as other key allies, such as Australia and Japan

Just another blatant example of US corruption based on self serving, arrogant objectives that are ethically/morally bankrupt!!

Ukraine can't join NATO yet. But Biden says Zelenskyy is OK with that

https://www.npr.org/2023/07/12/1187291581/biden-vilnius-ukraine-nato

Some NATO members, including the United States, feel that Ukraine cannot join the alliance until Russia ends its war there. Otherwise, NATO would be drawn directly into the war.

++++++++++++

What a crock. The reason Biden won't let Ukraine in NATO right now is that it would end the war.

Not from NATO destroying and defeating Russia which is Bidens only objective, (no matter how many people that have to die -400,000 so far or how many displaced from Ukraine-8 milllion or how much damage to Ukraine-approaching 1 trillion  or how much it costs US tax payers) but because he knows that it would obligate the US to send thousands of OUR soldiers in.

There's no choice. It's what belonging to NATO is all about.

If Biden sent in thousands of US soldiers to Ukraine and suddenly OUR people were dying.......you would see Americans quickly sour on the war and he would lose most of his support.

However, right now the propaganda has pathetically  convinced most Americans that its just fine to get half a million people killed in a war............just as long at they aren't Americans.

It's all Putin's fault and we are the good guys fighting the bad man. BULLSHEET!

No matter that Biden and puppet man, Zelensky are making no effort to negotiate for peace.

Biden is more than happy to spend 150+ billion of OUR money(his millions in bribes from Ukraine are safely tucked away). There will be billions more of our money to rebuild Ukraine.

And the traitor Zelensky (that was elected on a platform of negotiating peace with Russia) is thrilled to sacrifice his people and country to be elevated to a global super hero by the corrupt NATO countries that want to destroy Putin.........and use poor Ukrainians and the puppet to do it.

Some of us, that see what's actually going on know him as an ego maniac psychopath.

Sending cluster bombs to Ukraine, Washington makes clear it will stop at nothing

https://www.wsws.org/en/articles/2023/07/08/oewz-j08.html

The role of Zelensky in promoting a decision to send weapons that will maim Ukrainian children for generations sums up the role of his government, which serves as an instrument in enforcing the will of the NATO powers over the Ukrainian population.

This latest escalation by the United States must be seen as a warning. Washington will stop at nothing to prevent further military setbacks for its proxy force in Kiev and achieve its military goal of inflicting a strategic defeat on Russia. The same homicidal logic that justifies the deployment of depleted uranium rounds and cluster bombs will be used to justify even greater and more reckless crimes, from the direct entry of NATO into the war to the deployment and use of nuclear weapons.

++++++++

Are nuclear weapons next after cluster bombs?

https://www.workers.org/2023/07/72198/

Early in the war, the Biden administration alleged that Russia was using cluster bombs and claimed this would be a “war crime” if true. Now Biden is trying to counter critics by claiming that U.S. cluster bombs, with an alleged dud rate of 2.5%, have a lower dud rate than Russia’s bombs. Biden is ignoring U.S. laws prohibiting the production, use or transfer of cluster munitions with a dud rate greater than 1%.

However, the New York Times reported that “The Pentagon’s statements indicate that the cluster munitions that will be sent to Ukraine contain older grenades known to have a failure rate of 14% or more.” (July 9) By his own admission, Biden should be the one charged with war crimes.

Biden claims the U.S. needs to send these weapons known for killing and maiming civilians, because “the Ukrainians are running out of ammunition.” From February 2022 through early May 2023, the U.S. sent Ukraine aid valued at $76.8 billion, mostly in military weapons. There is not much the U.S. hasn’t sent to Ukraine when it comes to military supplies and support — anything to expand the war against Russia.

The Biden administration has provided or agreed to provide Ukraine with Abrams battle tanks, anti-aircraft missiles, coastal defense ships, advanced surveillance, radar systems and more, according to a long list provided by the U.S. Department of Defense, published by the Council on Foreign Relations. (May 19)

On June 13, the Wall Street Journal reported the U.S. will be sending depleted uranium munitions to Ukraine, despite ample evidence of the devastating impact of DU on military and civilian populations.

In their drive to win this war against Russia at any cost, members of the Biden administration have even suggested the use of “limited” nuclear weapons in Ukraine, even making ungrounded claims that Russia will do this first.

Compared to other countries receiving U.S. military aid in recent years, the scale of this aid to Ukraine is extraordinary, yet Ukraine continues to lose ground militarily. The Kiev regime keeps demanding more advanced equipment, including fighter aircraft, which would escalate the war and pull NATO allies more directly into combat.

Since the U.S. war in Korea ended in a 70-year stalemate in 1953, the U.S. has failed to “win” a single war it has engaged in from Vietnam to Afghanistan, despite the massive loss of lives and damage to infrastructures. Ukrainian workers need to know that they have nothing to gain from this war. Intervention by the U.S. in any war has always been about maximizing the blood-soaked profits for the weapons manufacturers and expanding U.S. imperialism’s empire.

Top Dems break with Biden over sending cluster bombs to Ukraine

Some lawmakers say the decision cedes the moral high ground and will kill civilians.

 https://www.politico.com/news/2023/07/07/top-dems-break-with-biden-over-sending-cluster-bombs-to-ukraine-00105246

Cluster Bombs Are “War-Crime” Weapons

Congress should bar the Biden administration from transferring internationally banned weapons to the Ukrainian government.

https://www.thenation.com/article/politics/cluster-bombs-ukraine-biden-congress/

US deepens Ukraine conflict by promising cluster bombs, which target civilians

https://www.thenation.com/article/politics/cluster-bombs-ukraine-biden-congress/

International human rights groups have long fought to ban the use of cluster bombs, which immediately threaten civilians. These bombs became well-known internationally after the United States’ war against Vietnam in Southeast Asia, when the Pentagon rained down  over 270 million cluster bombs  over Laos alone,  80 million of which failed to explode. Undetonated cluster bomblets dropped by the Pentagon in the 1960s in Laos, Cambodia, and Vietnam continue to kill or maim civilians to the present day.

One cluster bomb is really a shell containing up to 2,000 smaller bombs. These bomblets can scatter over a wide area once  released, resulting in potentially massive civilian death tolls over time, and killing indiscriminately. Cluster bombs have anywhere from a 2% to 40% failure rate, depending on the sub-variety. Undetonated cluster bomblets can lay undisturbed for years or decades before detonating, adding to the human death toll of a war for decades after it officially ends.

Many of those who are severely injured or killed by cluster bombs are children who mistake the small and often brightly colored bomblets for toys.

The shipment of cluster bombs is only the latest in a series of inhumane provocations made by the U.S., resulting in enormous death tolls for Ukrainian and Russian forces and civilians. As war goes on, the U.S. continues to escalate it,  and to get more and more directly involved. Meanwhile it is  the working class here in the United States that is forced to pay the extremely high price tag for U.S. military aid in the form of social service cuts and increased taxes.

No presidential election in Ukraine till war ends: Zelensky

https://www.livemint.com/news/world/no-presidential-election-in-ukraine-till-war-ends-zelensky-11687799430295.html

Ukranian law states that presidential elections may not be held while martial law is in place. While the actor-turned-politician's tenure is slated to end in March next year, he is likely to remain at the helm for the remainder of the war. With both countries showing no signs of backing down - and peace talks yet to resume - it remains unclear exactly when polls can be held.

+++++++++++

I don't know if we can read too much into that, Jean.

If somebody running against Zelensky promised to negotiate for peace and NOT insist on joining NATO(which is Russia's biggest demand) it seems like they could get many millions of votes.

But we'll never find out because the election won't happen until the war is over.

Hard to run on getting 200,000 of your people killed, 8 million left/displaced and 1 trillion in damages with continued screaming that it must continue indefinitely with no end in sight............TO JOIN NATO.

The damages are already 1 trillions times worse than the benefit of joining NATO.........and they still might not get to join NATO after all this.

Maybe most of them really do realize that Zelensky has betrayed them  as a Biden puppet used to destroy Russia.

If they do, the MSM sure wouldn't tell us with their constant propaganda.

Seriously though, if our country was getting completely decimated like this and our president was traveling around the world flaunting it and getting treated like a great hero, I sure would be outraged.

Ukraine, in its long history has never had it this horribly bad. Zelensky stopped negotiating with Russia and dared them to invade after Biden promised to have his back in September 2021 at the White House meeting.

Biden would not have sent cluster bombs banned in over 100 countries unless they've been lying to us about Ukraine winning.

Regardless of what propaganda you want to believe or don't want to believe. This was a desparate move with horrendous damage to the ethical high ground Biden is pretending to be taking and would only happen if Ukraine was NOT doing as well as we've been told.

This might give Ukraine a slight boost in fire power but the amount of lost support from those that abhor these weapons because of what they are, just got a profound glimpse inside the real Joe Biden's mindset in this war.

We can't unsee this decision and the damage it will do to the NATO side.

Seeing the reaction of the world, if Biden was really smart, objective and capable of using good judgment, he would immediately announce that he's changed his mind and will stop those type of weapons from going to kill Russians (and hurt innocent people).

This would totally salvage this and actually turn it completely around and make him look reasonable and restore his moral high ground position and case for being capable of making righteous decisions.

But Biden, with his gung ho military leaders and military industrial complex,  apparently doesn't care about peace.

He's obsessed with defeating Russia/Putin on the battlefield.

From the get go, that could never happen. Even with more weapons, the fact is Ukraine's army is eroding. Russia's is too but they have an army something like 3 times the size of Ukraine's.

The math just does not work for Ukraine and never did. They are running out of soldiers. I don't care what the propaganda says, they are running out of soldiers.

Putin knew this from the get go. The longer the war lasts, the bigger his advantage in man power.

What the heck Biden is thinking when he claims Ukraine will win defies understanding the logistics. Either that or he does understand and is willing sacrifice Ukraines entire army and country just to hurt/weaken Putin because he hates them so much

He just can't defeat him with Ukraine's rapidly dwindling army.

The saddest thing of all is that hundreds of thousands of Russians are dying here too. They are not evil people. They didn't do anything wrong. They just happened to grow up in Russia because of bad luck and had no choice but to fight in this war.

They are every bit as much victims as the Ukrainian soldiers dying are.

When we count fatalities, it's like only the dead Ukrainians matter to our side.

So sad.

Nothing gained, just enormous losses since the puppet followed Biden's orders and stopped negotiations in 2021 and replaced them with an insistence to Putin that Ukraine is joining NATO(exactly the opposite of what Putin wanted) ... up yours Putin...the US will back us with their weapons and support and make me, the great military leader a global hero at the same time.

what great military leader gets his country decimated and army almost completely wiped out and loses 8 million people, when it was blatantly  obvious from the get go that he couldn‘t outlast an army 3 times the size of his?

all of this because he wouldn’t make a promise to Russian that Ukraine will not join NATO!

This is a self absorbed, extremely dangerous psychopath that’s been elevated to fake great leader by those using him by getting him to betray his people and his election platform promise to negotiate peace with Russia.

Putin 'plans to use Wagner fighters to invade land between Poland and Lithuania'

Story by Siba Jackson • 3h ago

Russia is planning to use Wagner fighters in Belarus to seize a key strip of land between Poland and Lithuania, in a move that could trigger World War Three, it is feared.

‘Several hundred’ mercenaries are believed to be gathering close to the Suwalki Corridor, also known as the Suwalki Gap – a 60-mile zone which cuts across the border of Poland and Lithuania.

The strategic territory – dubbed NATO’s ‘weakest link’ and ‘Achilles heel’ – could be the first point of contact in world war, prompting some to describe it as the ‘most dangerous place on earth’.

Taking control of the corridor would create a land bridge linking the Russian enclave of Kaliningrad – the main base of President Vladimir Putin’s Baltic fleet – and Kremlin ally Belarus.

Wagner troops are poised to launch an invasion attempt ‘in a matter of hours’, a senior Putin ally claimed on state television.

This did not need to happen. Zelensky was upholding his election campaign promise to Ukrainians that voted him in by negotiating for peace with Russia(struggling but at least trying), then he met with Joe Biden in the White House in September 2021 and everything suddenly changed.

After the meeting with Biden, Zelensky's response to Putin's demand that Ukraine commit to staying out of NATO was "not a chance, we're joining NATO"(paraphrased)

Joe Biden just promised Ukraine the  unlimited military support Ukraine needs to win the battle with Russia and he promised to get us into NATO as soon as we defeat Russia on the battlefield with his powerful weapons and Ukraine's army.

Problem is that Joe Biden and his advisors)bought and paid for by the military industrial complex that got rich with this war) are profound failures at strategizing war tactics which were blatantly obvious to anybody.

I told you this from the beginning.

Russia started with 900K soldiers.

Ukraine started with 196K soldiers.

Now, after 100K in deaths/losses

Russia has 800K soldiers

Ukraine has 96K soldiers

After another 50K in losses it will be:

Russia having 750K soldiers

Ukraine having 46K soldiers

And the Russian advantage is greatly amplified in time from the even trading of something that one side has a huge advantage of to start with.

Zelensky signs decree formally ruling out negotiations with Putin

4 October 2022

  https://www.commonspace.eu/news/zelensky-signs-decree-formally-ruling-out-negotiations-putin

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has signed a decree formally stating that Ukraine will refuse to negotiate with Russian President Vladimir Putin, while still leaving open the prospect of talks with Russia under a different president

This week, Putin turns 70 and there are no signs of his retirement anytime soon; neither are there any indications that either president will back down. It therefore seems unlikely there will be any direct peace talks between both presidents in the near future.

All the bs about Putin's health we've read/heard has been total war propaganda.

Putin warns of Russia's cluster bomb 'stockpile' after Ukraine receives its own shipment from US

https://www.foxnews.com/world/putin-warns-russias-cluster-bomb-stockpile-after-ukraine-receives-shipment-from-us

+++++++++++++

No attempts or even desire to negotiate peace, in fact a renouncing of ever trying to negotiate by the puppet with this regime, no matter what...... just a continued escalation.

Try to wrap your heads around what this means people.

The war can't end with negotiations until the damages are unthinkable and voters/people speak out that enough is enough.

Half a million dead, 1 trillion in destruction is not nearly enough because they won't even contemplate peace.

They don't give a crap about this. What they care about is power (and resources).

The only way for this to end is for Americans to stand up and threaten to NOT vote for people that support this and vehemently object to our tax dollars being the main vehicle for supporting all this death, destruction and harm to the entire world, especially poor people that are hurt the most when paying higher prices for food.

Americans are the ones funding this! We must speak out about this atrocity or it will keep getting worse!

The lame MSM, instead, pushes the war propaganda and lies constantly about the realities.

+++++++++++

What makes it especially lame is that if everything was the same, except Trump was president the MSM would be screaming bloody murder against the war.

Trump is not qualified to be president and should be in prison, but he would likely have saved half a million lives in Ukraine and saved US tax payers 130 billion and reduced global food, supply side inflation caused by the war.

And if it were a different country than Russia, there would be much less support for it by the MSM

Media at War: Issues and Limitations

https://ciaotest.cc.columbia.edu/olj/sa/sa_dec00raa01.html

The media have always had a special relationship with war-limited war or conflict, mainly because each of these situations is considered of major news value and of utmost public importance and interest due to its security implications. Conflict is the adrenalin of the media. Journalists are trained to look for disagreements and find war irresistible. And when it happens to be 'our war', the involvement of the media has been assessed to be much more enthusiastic and extensive.

Conclusion

Mass media do less to mirror the world as it is than to shape a world as it should not be; a world where war too readily appears an inevitable outgrowth of human nature and still, after a long century of conflict, an appropriate form of dispute resolution.

“In doing that, he is robbing the world of any hope of Ukrainian grain. Every one of his bombs also hits the world’s poorest,” she said."

What did we think would happen in an escalating war with both sides trying to win by defeating the other side  on the ground?

we hear that because Putin only understands force, thats why we need to use force.

thats retarded.

if he has a bigger army and it’s in his part of the world we are dumb arses to engage in a fight that we can’t win.

after half a million dead and 1 trillion in damages, that still hasn’t sunk in.

this is suicidal. The war is IN Ukraine. Ukraine is being decimated and their psycopathic puppet goes around the world as a great leader.

every leader in history that did something like this to their country took their legacy into the hall of shame.

the puppet can’t possibly care about the real human life being wasted Because he refused and refuses to not join NATO.

pthe world is suffering too as evidenced here.

more and more countries are getting increasingly upset at both sides int his needless war.

saying it’s all  Putins fault but refusing to negotiate with him is lame.

"I don't know if we can read too much into that, Jean.

If somebody running against Zelensky promised to negotiate for peace and NOT insist on joining NATO(which is Russia's biggest demand) it seems like they could get many millions of votes.

But we'll never find out because the election won't happen until the war is over."

IMO ~ THE "WEST" WILL MAKE SURE THE WAR ESCALATES, IF THEY THINK THEY'RE GONNA LOSE THE 2024 ELECTION! THEN, THEY CAN BLAME THE INCOMING PRESIDENT.

SURPRISE ~ THEY JUST MIGHT KEEP THE WH. LOL

It appears as if the only way for them to keep the White House is if Trump runs.

Trump can obviously get the nomination from the R party that doesn't care about all the horrible things that he's done. However, ever one of them are the ones left from the original Trump cult before the 2020 election.

Let's do the math:

The NOT/NEVER Donald Trump voters have only increased since 2020.

Trump was the only reason Biden won last time.

Out of the 60% of Ds that don't want Biden to run, how many will vote for Trump instead of Biden?

Right now, Trump has LESS R support and almost no independents support.

If Trump runs, he will automatically add even MORE votes to the other person.

Regardless of what the polls say and how bad Biden is, what was grossly overlooked in the last election is the many millions of Ds that came out to vote in 2020 that almost never vote in order to cast their Vote ....NOT Donald Trump.

Far right Trump loyalists called the 81+ million votes for Biden voter fraud because it didn't make sense to them.  Completely blind to the reality of what 81 million other people saw and came out in droves to vote NOT Donald Trump.

In 2024, the biggest unifying agent for the D party, by an even wider margin than the previous presidential election will be NOT Donald Trump if he runs.

I am 100% certain of that.

You can bank on this too. Rs that have turned very sour on Trump will be less likely to vote for him in 2024 and more likely to not vote.

I'm not stating this because of how I feel about Trump. Just stating the stone cold authentic facts.

THE "WAR" IS GONNA EXPLODE PRETTY RAPIDLY, IF THERE'S ONE "MIS-STEP" ON THIS MOVE... IMO

Russia's Wagner Mercenaries Launch Joint Training With Belarusian Military Near Polish Border

“The arrival of Wagner will add to instability, and no one will feel safe with these war criminals roaming the country,” she said. “They are extremely dangerous and their unpredictability raises the threat for Belarusians and our neighbors.”

Polish Defense Minister Mariusz Blaszczak said Thursday that he has ordered to move some troops from the country's west to Biala Podlaska, around 45 kilometers (28 miles) west from Brest, and in Kolno, further north.

"We must bear in mind that bringing a few thousand of Wagner’s forces into Belarus poses a threat to our country, hence my decision to move some military units from Poland’s west to Poland’s east,” Blaszczak said on state Radio 1. “Their task it is to train and to deter an aggressor, it is to show Russia that Poland’s border should not be crossed, that it would not pay off to attack Poland.”

Some of the strong rhetoric could be attributed to early campaigning before parliamentary elections expected in the fall, in which the ruling right-wing Law and Justice party is expected to lose its control of the parliament.

Nothing but escalation since it began. Nobody discussing peace or negotiations.

No sign of a reversal to the trend. In trading, we have the expression of "the trend is your friend"

In this war, the trend is the opposite of our friend because it's causing increasing decimation of life and Ukraine and is taking us perilously close to nuclear war.

In that case, it MIGHT mean the trend is the end............of a lot of things that billions of people cherish.

MIKE ~ ARE THERE SUCH PLACES ANYMORE, AS THE "FALL OUT SHELTERS" WE HAD IN THE '50-'60 ERA?  ONR OF OURS WAS THE BASEMENT OF THE COURT HOUSE.  THERE WAS EVEN SIGNS ON THE OUTSIDE OF THE BUILDNG.

Julie,

I don't know the answer to that.

I do know that we keep getting closer to nuclear war and if we get there, the world will  wish like H that they could go back to this point in time and previous points in time(when it could have been prevented)  and tried to end the war instead of cheering for THEIR side to kill and destroy the other more than THEIR side gets killed and destroyed and HOPING that eventually the false war propaganda lying to them,  that they want to be true will magically happen.

UN chief says peace talks in Ukraine conflict not possible right now

MADRID, May 9 (Reuters) - UN Secretary General Antonio Guterres said he sees no immediate possibility of reaching a comprehensive ceasefire in the war in Ukraine as both sides are convinced they can win, according to an interview published by Spanish newspaper El Pais on Tuesday.

Sorry about that, Jean. Wow, that was very strange of me.

never heard a thing back from Julie. It looks like she deleted every post that she ever made here.

Dozens of comments and questions directed to her are left in other peoples posts but for some reson, she wanted Every comment she made deleted.

im the 1,000% opposite. I spent thousands of hours researching and fact checking stuff and use the posts that communicated that work initially  as sources to support related topics.

julie was a very nice lady. I really don’t know why things didn’t work out for her here or even why she agreed to become moderator In the first place.

when she took over, the forum still had tons of bugs because Alex died before it was completely ready.

pthe bugs and complaints about them went completely ignored while she was moderator.

when I took over, I spent a great deal of time with Chris, the tech guy  that designed our web sight. He’s brilliant and could fix everything but just needed feedback on what needed fixing.

Biden is the entire reason that Ukraine continues to fight and won't negotiate. As shown before, Ukraine will be running out of able bodied people left to fight.

Think how profoundly sad that is for Ukraine. To have almost all of its army wiped out.........and gaining nothing.

Jean,

The gatekeepers in charge of the false narratives and propaganda regarding this war are colluding and have too much control and will never hold themselves accountable for their crimes.

Great points by this source of yours:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bUWNO-uglVY

++++++++++++++++

Look at the map of reality below and use this to predict the end of the war. You can't because it suggests the war will continue indefinitely based on the real fighting.

Our side will never have what Biden's objective is "defeating the Russian army on the battlefield and forcing them to completely retreat back into Russia"

And their original objective is still this, which is to use Ukraine to try to punish Russia indefinitely. They want this war:

"The lack of willingness to allow Ukraine to negotiate with Russia predates these visits and was summarized in a March 10, 2022, article in the Washington Post where senior officials in US President Joe Biden’s administration stated that the current US strategy “is to ensure that the economic costs for Russia are severe and sustainable, as well as to continue supporting Ukraine militarily in its effort to inflict as many defeats on Russia as possible.”
