High risk Property Insurance

Why do people that build in flood prone places or wild fire high risk or any high risk area, expect Federal help, when disaster happens
Why do tax payers pick up a large part of the re-building cost to build in the same high risk place
If your 100,000 plus boat gets blown away into my back yard, then I own it until you pay damages
If your store blows down then consider the risk to your store and not Federal disaster aid dollars
Any aid to disaster should be spent on public infrastructure and private damage is covered by private insurance that is not Federal subsidized insurance
If no insurance or under insured, then tough luck for you
Is this what a socialist country looks like???
I think the USA is very socialist
Watch where the aid dollars go, who gets what, and tell me this is not socialist spending
But you say Canada is socialist
No more so than USA, just different ways to spend Federal dollars
Is Federal crop subsidies a socialist program
And now the farmers are asking what other Federal payments might be coming
As if tough times mean Federal dollars to stay in business
How many social assistance programs do you have
I lost count a long time ago, but some say they need more money or the social programs will be BK
But some say Canada is such a socialist country
Pot calling the kettle black
Watch where the Federal disaster aid dollars go and then tell me who is socialist
This is the only message in this thread.
